Its perfect for a hand puppet. Work great and even has movable hands if you can stretch uiu hands that way, hands down perfect for entertaining my grand baby while we watch Seseme Street together.

I bought the GUND ELMO HAND PUPPET as well as the BIG BIRD PUPPET and immediately started walking around talking like ELMO and having a blast. The puppets were for my 18 month old granddaughters and I hadnt seen them for awhile so I thought it would be a nice ice breaker when they saw me again. The quality of the puppets is excellent. I dont really understand some of the other reviews that say that it is hard to fit your hand in the head of the puppets. I have large hands for a woman and they fit perfectly. The more you use the puppets the more supple the rubber mouths become and that in turn will allow the mouths to eventually open even wider. I had no probems with that feature. I have to say ELMO is my favorite Sesame Street character so it was hard to say good-bye when the girls left with my, I mean their, new friend. The exterior is made from very soft fabric which does not molt or fall off and the eyes and nose are strongly adhered to the face. Just make sure every so often that the eyes, in particular, are firmly attached for saftey, especially for toddlers. After seeing both ELMO and BIG BIRD I would not hesitate to order the other GUND SESAME STREET characters and possibly buy another ELMO for my very own. (Some of us never really grow up.)

My nephew loves this puppet! The only complaint I have is, you cant work his mouth and arms at the same time. (you just dont have enough fingers!!! Lol!!!) Hes a great size, though, to throw in a diaper bag and take him everywhere with us. As a parent, I love how much a puppet makes everyone interact. I prefer them to regular stuffed animals!!

I ordered Elmo and Cookie Monster for my grandsons first birthday. Definitely a low tech toy as you talk for it and operate it - allows for some creativity. The only problem is making the mouth move and operating the hands at the same time with one hand. William absolutely loved them - they are much larger than I expected and very soft and cuddly. He loves Sesame Street and wanted to give them many hugs and kisses. I uploaded a picture so you can see how big and cuddly Elmo is.

My daughter loves it we use it a lot to entertain her. your hand does fit a little bit awkward inside the puppet, it could be because of the mouth being a little bit small so its hard to move the puppet mouth. The eyes are supposed to be crooked not a defect. More of a splurge item but super cute.

I wanted this to play with my grandchild online. It is a good size to use comfortably. One star off due to needing to open up the stuffing to provide more padding over the mouth hinge. The mouth is very tight on arrival. The mouth material is plastic so you need to create a bend along the sew line for both the top and bottom of the mouth pieces. You can fit a thumb and finger in the arms to clap and play peek-a-boo. You cannot manipulate the arms and mouth at the same time. I am very happy I bought it. (Another good choice for adults to use online is the Aurora dog, which is good to go out of the box.)

Ive always been please with products by GUND this is no expection. Well made, very soft and it makes a 1 year old very happy. Sold!

My son loves this Elmo puppet but it doesnt look like Elmo that much. The proportions are a bit off and the nose and eyes dont really resemble Elmo exactly. But, the baby gets a kick out of it when I talk like Elmo. Also the mouth doesnt open much so its hard to make him really laugh likes Elmo loves to do. Other than that the fur is nice and construction is good.

Bought it for my great grandson & he loved it!!!! Dont pass up on this buy its much more expensive @ ur WalMart, Target or another store.

It’s a lot of fun to play with this. My kids each have one and love it.
