These Hakko tips will fit the iron on the generic black box soldering iron/hot air gun combo from China (they usually are labeled as 853D - mine is) and work WAY better than the original tips. They heat evenly, even out to the tip, and make soldering work a fair bit easier. Just make sure you get a brass curl cleaning station to clean/tin the tips and use it to re-tin the tip every time so it stays in excellent condition.

These tips help heat the joint up much better than the stock Aoyue tips. Makes sense, but I would definitely recommend using these quality Hakko tips with any iron, and not cheapening out, after having seen the difference myself.

Fit my iron which isnt hakko. The tips provided where very low quality. Right out of the package I could tell these were better. The heat transfer is spot on and the tips clean well. They look new besides some discoloration after many uses provided you care for them. They heat at the very tip unlike the previous tips. Which need to be used almost horizontally to melt solder.

It is smaller than the original that came with my soldering iron. This makes it easier to get into tight spaces.
