Hakko T18 Series Chisel Pack with T18-D08/D12/D24/D32/S3 Tips Model (Japan Import)

Good pack of 5 useful chisel tips at a reasonable price (this way each tip costs less than buying them individually). The only tip missing from this pack is T18-D16, which is strange, but at any rate I recommend buying this pack and then the aforementioned tip separately if you need the full range of Hakko chisel tips. The tips may even fit non Hakko-branded (but compatible) iron.

Cheaper than Milwaukee, so I cant say how long they will last. Hako is a premium brand, however, so I anticipate long service.

Cant go wrong with Hakko. Dont buy cheap replacements. Buy these. Get to temp quickly.

I actually saved quite a bit of money buying them this way as opposed to individually. Chisel tips are best for hand-wiring like I do in guitars, amps and lamps; they distribute heat over a larger area. which helps attach many gauges of stranded copper. These tips are not really appropriate for pinpoint circuit board soldering. So just make sure you know the type of work you want to accomplish as well as the model of your iron, and you cant go wrong here.

I have had my soldering station for about 7 years now and although it is not a really expensive unit, I was happy with it. I recently bought a single Hakko T18 tip for a project. Once I started using that tip, I couldnt believe the difference and how much easier soldering was. I was so happy with that tip that I ended up buying this Hakko set. The difference between the off brand tips and this Hakko set is unbelievable. The tips hold the heat so much better and transfer it much quicker than my off brand tips. I wish I had bought this set a long time ago. You will not be disappointed if you upgrade your tips.
