First, and foremost, these filters are the very best. Did, however, wish to provide some additional information both for customers and for the manufacturer. I order 200 of these about once a month (I drink a lot of coffee) and the last two times I have purchased these I noticed a couple of small changes. The paper material of which these are made is different. It is a bit softer, there is a slight visible pattern running parallel to the seam, and the thumb notch cutout for opening the filter is gone (who cares?). And guess what? These (perhaps newer) filters of the softer paper are BETTER. The flow-through rate is a tad slower and my pour-over coffee has improved. So, if you order these and get the filters without the thumb notch, feel good about it! And if the manufacturer is reading this, please keep shipping this version! This makes an already excellent product even better!

Anyone who has used an authentic Hario V60 filter knows this is counterfeit. The crimped edge is far thicker than real Hario filters and the paper is far thicker. Dont buy!

They work perfectly fine. The white colored ones are better than the brown ones in my opinion. Less paper taste and filters faster. Dont forget to pre wet the filter with boiling water first and THEN add the coffee grinds. Pouring the hot water over the filter first gets it ready to brew and it heats the pot. Good buy.

If youve purchased the Hario V60 drip coffee filter you are going to want these. Regular square bottomed coffee filters are too large and simply do not fit this device. What is wonderful about the duo is that drip coffee drains more quickly and you get a brighter flavor of your coffee.

So, ill be honest, I only recently discovered the Hario pour over device and was bit reluctant to accept the white paper filters but surprise surprise they work like a charm. Fancy that. I will warn you that the second pack likes to hide. I still havent found it upon receiving it.
