I watched videos on Amazon, YouTube and others on YouTube that a QR code on the package directed me to along with reading the enclosed instructions that were in the package. It still took me over two hours to set it up to work remotely. Once I got there it worked as well as any device I use with Alexa and theres the convenience of in effect having an added outlet. Id buy it again.

I really do like this dual smart plug. It was a little tricky to get set up. I was confused as to whether you had to set each one separately. As it turns out once you set one the other is automatically set as well. You do have to go back out once they’re set up and get them online. That was something I found out after setting up schedules for both plugs. I also thought it would be solid blue lights once set, but they’re red. I’ve clicked the on and off button on the app on my phone a few times and it’s on, so solid red is where you want them. I used this plug on my aquarium light for the plants in there as well as my lamp in the living room which has always been set up on a schedule on a smart plug so I don’t forget to turn it off.

It was a little difficult to set up. I cant say for sure if the problem was my interpretation of the instructions or the instructions werent clear. Whatever the problem it took 30 minutes to get it to work with Alexi. When I finally worked it out, the second outlet was easy to configure. These are perfect for my tree. I can easily turn all my decorations on and off. I will order another set for the family room.

I bought a set of 8 of them a while ago and love them they work great and are super quick to use. This newest batch came and the box was all crushed and they were all over the place in the bag. Ill edit my review if theyre not working after testing. As for the first batch I only had occasional days where a routine in Google home would not trigger a switch to power on or off for our bearded dragons light. All in all great though and will most likely buy more.

Very easy to connect to my Smart Life app and easy to set up.

A little hard to set up at first but then I watched a YouTube video and it explained everything so much better. The thing I can’t stand is the bright lights. It’s sooooo bright that it keeps me up at night. Works as a night light but not if you like complete darkness to sleep in. Might just find black tape to cover it cause the double outlet is really convenient.

Perfect for my Christmas decorations around the house. I don’t need to get up to see if I remember to turn all the christmas lights/decorations off. I can control them now on my phone. BUT, I had a hard time installing or pairing it to my phone. Here’s my situation and how I solved it and made it work after an hour. First, make sure your wifi 2.4GHz is on. I have verizon fios and though I have a dual wifi connection, I’ve only been using the 5Ghz. I couldn’t find my 2.4ghz on my wifi list. So I did some research and had to turn off or disable the SON under wifi settings on fios app. Unplug my router and plug it back in after a minute or two then bam! it shows up. So when I got my phone connected to 2.4, I went ahead and start the pairing. This thing didn’t come with instruction so I went back to this page and read the manual. You will need to download the app “smart life” or simply scan the QR barcode in the back of the device. Then you will need to set the device up on pairing mode by press and hold either of the white button and the light blinks and it should be now visible on your phone. Then connect. Now, if you want to connect your phone back to 5Ghz(because I think it’s much faster than 2.4) all you gotta do is connect your device to alexa. Then you caan forget about the smart life app really because you can navigate or control your device thru alexa. As long as your device is connected to the 2.4ghz network your fine and that’s all that matters. I hope this helps! I highly recommend this and I might get one more set. F

I bought the 2 outlet smartplug since I see mixed reviews. I tried pretty hard to get these to work on my fish tank and couple of other outlets. When I would turn off the fish tank pump I tripped all four sets of outlets that I bought and they would turn off momentarily and turn right back on like a power loss situation. This was the only reason way I bought these, but it defeated the purpose. I did talk to customer service and I switched from the hbn app as stated in the instructions to smartlife app. However, even with the switch of apps this still did not work. They did offer a replacement, but for me to ship back the old ones cost half the price of buying new ones. My loss is your lesson learned. Pick another brand if you plan on using both outlets on the plug.

So I plugged it in and tried to get it to connect to my wifi took a bit but I had to connect it to the outlet near my router first and then move it to the outlet I wanted which was a bit further away and now works fine, but as for the Alexa integration, when I tried to connect it directly from the app I would get an error message that my Alexa app was not updated and I had to go through the Alexa app itself to add my devices but over all works great I would honestly get more once I need them

Love the product and end result but SO frustrating to figure out directions for set up. Needed to use apps and Alexa internet source etc. Finally before giving up completely I found directions on You-Tube which were easily followed. So yes now I can ask Alexa to turn on 2 things whenever I want them one. Works great
