This pouch is big enough for my XL flat iron. It’s thick and sturdy, and works just as the description says. I rest the iron on it while using, and store it away in the pouch as soon as I’m finished. It’s heat resistant, compact and perfect for traveling and I have one for my curling iron as well.

These heat resistant mats needed to be around years ago!! They are absolutely perfect for traveling and I just leave it out at home to keep my counter safe. I love mine!!! Easy to use and keeps the heat from getting out.

i haven’t tested the heat resistance feature yet as not sure I’m keeping it -But it’s much smaller than anticipated and feels flimsy like it will come apart at the seams after first use . I don’t know how it will hold my flat iron with the cord and not rip or poke a hole from the cord - it doesn’t close either and is more like a very very slim sleeve that i feel is now over stuffed with just my flatiron in it, and could barley fit the cord inside too. Perhaps if i decide to keep it will prove to be more durable than expected ? I just can’t see how this would travel well. As per the heat resistance feature, most counter tops are heat resistant at this point so wasn’t a selling point for me. Just wanted a nice storage case for flatiron that was padded for protection with room for cord storage . as the hair iron i recently purchased was missing the storage case. I do love the hot pink color , but otherwise was very underwhelmed with this purchase.

I was always nervous of burning my countertop with my hair irons. This is so nice to prevent burns but also from slipping off the countertops.
