I accidentally left my hot iron on for the entire overnight and found out the next morning!! Thank God it was resting on the pad!!! Absolutely nothing happened to either my hot iron or the pad!

This is a muat have for anybody that flat irons or uses a curling iron. No more waiting for it to cool down, running it under cool water or wrapping it in clothes or towels... and getting burn marks on them. This one is nice.

It’s cheap and effective. Protects surfaces from heat and I can fit my GHD platinum+ with cable inside which makes it handy for travelling.

I purchased two of these for my travel and for home base. Its better than I expected... I have a triple barrel wave maker... it fits perfectly in this sleeve and it REALLY needs a hot pad AND a sleeve - this is both! The sleeve is WIDE. If youre using a regular single barrel... you could fit two or three in it... not that I would do that... but if you only put one single barrel iron in there, it will swim in there! And of course, any flat iron will fit. Honestly, this is one of my favorite things Ive purchased in a while. Its great when something you order to do something and it actually does. The two I purchased are hot pink. The outside is ridged and because it a silicone material, its insulating and protects surfaces. My triple barrel wave maker fits completely in it... with nothing hanging out. I am going to say if you have one a curling iron, flat iron or major wave maker (triple barrel) and you travel - you need one or two of these. Reasonably priced in my opinion as well. Just fyi... I have tried many creative thing... hot pads and a rubber band to hold it together.. A thick towel... (they actually burn if you leave your iron on it - yikes) These are the answer. Having said all that... I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

I haave a small straighting iron that also curls on the outside. This is great for that It holds both the iron and the cord inside. Very heat resistant
