I do not travel much but I wanted this so I could have a spot for my straightener so it would a. Look more need and b. Not damage my brand new vanity. Cant beat this product for the price and it works.

This is great for placing your straightener or other hot tools without burning the surface beneath and having a designated place for the tools when traveling but they don’t really work when packing things up in a bind. The heat resistance isn’t good enough for that. It’s still hot enough to the touch that I wouldn’t just throw it in my bag in a rush. Because of that I’d say it’s good but not great. If you could find one that you could do that with it would be more worth the money because that’s what this is lacking that would make it perfect

Great price and protects my counter. Easy to throw in a bag even if hot. Fits my extra long curling iron.

Works very well and as intended. It would be nice if it also had a flap which could be folded over open end as needed, especially when packed for traveling.
