Greater than one weekPerfect for traveling with my flat iron. I put it in the sleeve as soon as I unplug it and put it in my travel bag. The sleeve will feel warm, but certainly not hot. Great product for travel. When at home, I place the unplugged hot flat iron on top of the sleeve, when I store it in the closet.

Greater than one weekWas gllad to find this item. Had a foam cutter that was somewhat fragile and it seems every box was too long or too short. This one is an ideal length and wide enough to hold the card board printed instruction besides providing a heat resistance setting for the tool when in use.

> 3 dayNot sure I would feel comfortable unplugging, putting it in the silicone sleeve and putting it directly into my luggage. It still felt very hot to touch in the sleeve. I am happy with the main reason that I purchased it which was to protect my counter while I was doing my hair.
