> 3 dayThis is a great carry-on from an excellent brand. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and I had no issues with storing it in the overhead compartment on my flight (Southwest Airlines). My first large piece of luggage was a Delsey too, and it was purchased in 2003. I’m still using that suitcase to this day with no complaints. This brand is worth the investment.

> 3 dayWonderful suitcase, holds enough for my winter business clothes (I am female) for 3 weeks with 3 pairs of shoes and a couple of casual outfits. I do pack smart meaning my things mix and match. The suitcase is sturdy but not so heavy that at my age ( 60 ) I have trouble removing it from the luggage turnstile at the airport. The Wheels work perfectly (360), zippers and interior are great and I carried a bottle of wine for my boss packed in the suitcase wrapped in bubble wrap with two plane changes and the bottle was not broken. Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekNot bad, but weak in the sidewalls. When you grab it by the handle on the long side, the sides flex alarmingly, even when the case is empty. Fully loaded, Im not sure how it made it from San Diego to South America, but it did arrive intact, somehow. Kudos to Dempsey for that, but I cannot honestly recommend that you buy this case. Get something stronger.

> 3 dayAfter over 2 years of use and 40+ trips (both international and domestic) I have to buy another Delsey helium luggage because somehow the side with the handle sustained a big crack. To be fair, it looks like whoever damaged my luggage dragged or pushed it on its side with another heavy luggage on top and the handle may have gotten caught on something and cracked the side. I was very sad to find it had broken as this luggage has kept my things intact all those times.

> 3 dayTook this on a 2 month trip to Europe. It survived hours of walking along cobblestone streets, being dragged into potholes, thrown around on boats, trains and automobiles and and being checked on crappy airlines. Held up like a champ. Exterior looks scratched up but no other damage.
