> 3 dayWe used this on our 2 year olds crib with the front off just prior to upgrading her to a big girl twin bed. Works like a charm. One thing to note, if you have a toddler and put this on a thin mattress in a crib they may bend the support bars. We have a jumping bean of a 2 year old so her pogo-sticking hops on the mattress prior to bed caused some bends. Easy quick fix with a hammer though. Anyhow when we moved it to the twin bed all we did was place under the thick mattress and zip-tie it to the metal box spring. Much easier than the cruddy velcro straps it comes with. As long as you make sure it snaps up and in place when you leave the room your child will be just fine with this. Easily moves up with them as they grow. I like one reviewers comment about installing under the metal springs of your crib; should have tried that myself! For the price and function you cant lose here.

> 3 dayThis was perfect for my sons toddler bed there isnt any padding on the rail itself which isnt a huge deal Im sure most of them dont. But definitely would buy it again. It slides under his mattress as he has a race car toddler bed but it does connect to a crib bed also.

> 3 dayPerfect for nap time! I don’t have to worry about my toddler falling out of the crib. Very easy to put together. I put it together all by myself within 20 minutes, start to finish. I recommend this to any parent who’s toddler is transitioning.

> 3 dayGreat but doesnt last. I ordered one and it split down the side after a few months on the fabric. It was replaced and this one split as well after a few months. But if course its now past the replacement time frame. Ill have to go with a new brand now. Update: I contacted them by email about the faulty cover I had and they are looking into it and going to send me a replacement. A+ for customer service!

Greater than one weekProduct was pretty straightforward to install and works very well. We have had it in my daughters room since February 2022, it is currently December and the cover on the guard ripped and is no longer working. I contacted the company via their information on the cover and received a very quick response where they verified some info and said they would be shipping a replacement ASAP. I am very impressed with how quick the service was and how friendly they were.

> 3 day**UPDATED REVEIW** I wrote a previous review about how great the customer service was, BUT the cover was just not lasting, even when the company sent me a new cover it tore again. After writing my review, customer service contacted me again, refunded my money and sent me a new rail after explaining that the frame must just be slightly off and therefore pulling the cover too tight. I was blown away with the customer service and I will update again on how the new rail and cover are holding up. *Original review* I loved this toddler rail. It was easy to put together and install and my toddler loves how it can fold down like a ramp. However, the cover tore after less than one month. The customer service was outstanding and they sent me a new cover very quickly. This new cover has now ripped within less than a month again. I have the 2 stars for the customer service as well as the actual bed rail which has help up great- the cover is just not made well enough to last longer than a month. I wanted to like it, but I can’t keep emailing about torn covers and waiting for a replacement.

> 3 dayWe had a couple of surprises installing the safety rail. First, one of the rods was affixed to the hinge backwards, so that the hole in the rod would not match up with the coupling on the other rod. My husband had to drill a hole in the metal rod to make it work (and it took three tries to get it large enough). Im sure it was just a mistake in the manufacturing that doesnt apply to all of the products, but it was pretty annoying to have to drill a hole. If you run into that problem, dont spend a long time trying to reposition the rods like we did - its not you! - just drill the hole and it will work fine. Second, our crib has three mattress levels. We were using the lowest setting, but we could not secure the anchors while the crib was on the lowest setting. There simply wasnt enough room between spring on the mattress and the crib frame for the anchor to fit. We could have installed a board and drilled holes in the board, but (because of the first problem), my husband was tired of drilling when no tools were supposed to be required, so we just raised the mattress to the middle level. I will say that having the mattress on the middle level allows for the guard rail to fold down nicely along the bed. If the mattress were on the lowest level, it wouldnt go flat along the bed because the floor would get in the way. Since we had to use the middle mattress setting, were also having to use a stool for my child to crawl into the bed. Given that, I seriously considered just putting the mattress on the lowest setting and doing away the guard rail altogether. But, after the time we invested just getting it set up, we decided to give it a try. Despite the surprises, the product has worked well. I have not experienced any of the issues the other reviewers mention about the lowering the rail. It takes two hands to do it, but otherwise, its pretty simple. Also, it is very sturdy, so I dont have to worry about it giving way and my child falling out. Also, we had a crib-sized piece of plywood that we used with our AngelCare monitor. We placed this over the support bars for the guard rail and that has kept the support bars from digging into the mattress without compromising stability. All in all, I think its going to be a good transition piece for us, but if I had to do it over again, I may have considered additional options that could be installed with the mattress on the lowest setting and that would not require tools.
