Greater than one weekI really like this specific toddler bed rail for a few reasons. I LOVE that it folds down. My toddler will only fall asleep with me next to him, so Im able to still lay down next time him and then quietly put the rail back up when he is asleep. He no longer falls out of bed and can easily get around the rail to get out when he wants. I also really like that it has metal bars to attach to the bottom of the crib (converted to toddler bed). It feels a lot safer than some that just rely on the mattress holding it down. It DOES move a little bit, but I think is more secure than any other Ive seen. Make sure you get this for a crib converted to a toddler bed, not just a toddler bed on its own because that wont be the right size. I saw some reviews that ran into that issue. But this is perfect for the delta convertible crib and for toddlers that want you with them to fall asleep.

Greater than one weekWhen the day comes that your toddler starts scaling their crib rails and you have to remove a side rail, you probably will want to add a low rail to avoid having your toddler roll out of the crib. No one is happy when a toddler rolls out of their bed in the middle of the night. Adding a side rail that is sturdy and stays in place is tricky if you have a steel spring frame that supports the mattress. Some add-on rails use nylon straps to hold the rail in place. That might work on a larger bed with a heavy mattress and a box spring. It does not work with a light crib mattress on a steel frame. The hiccapop rail includes two steel bars that go all the way across the steel spring frame and clamp to the far side. Velcro straps and provided to secure the near side. This provides a very sturdy support for the rail. As a mechanical engineer, I appreciate things that are structurally sound like the hiccapop Convertible Crib Bed Rail for Toddlers.

> 3 dayIt looks sturdy once installed. Installation was really easy and only took a few minutes to do. It looks pretty nice. I saw other reviews mention the netting not holding up that is really my only concern at this point. It locks and unlocks really easy. It seems to be actually what I needed.

Greater than one weekLove this guard rail. Its the perfect size for convertible cribs BUT the packaging is terrible. The box was NOT taped shut on both sized so when i picked it up, all the of the pieces fell out and hit my kids hand. I dont know if this is an amazon issue or hiccapop issue.

> 3 day**UPDATED REVEIW** I wrote a previous review about how great the customer service was, BUT the cover was just not lasting, even when the company sent me a new cover it tore again. After writing my review, customer service contacted me again, refunded my money and sent me a new rail after explaining that the frame must just be slightly off and therefore pulling the cover too tight. I was blown away with the customer service and I will update again on how the new rail and cover are holding up. *Original review* I loved this toddler rail. It was easy to put together and install and my toddler loves how it can fold down like a ramp. However, the cover tore after less than one month. The customer service was outstanding and they sent me a new cover very quickly. This new cover has now ripped within less than a month again. I have the 2 stars for the customer service as well as the actual bed rail which has help up great- the cover is just not made well enough to last longer than a month. I wanted to like it, but I can’t keep emailing about torn covers and waiting for a replacement.

> 3 dayThis product is great and came at a much needed time that coincidentally coinsided with the time that my two year old daughter figured out she could climb out of her crib. And not gracefully, mind you, but like a sack of potatoes being flug off of a ship only to land face first on the dockside. Sure you can save the potatoes, but now they have snot on their face from the dock and all the crying. Installing it was relatively simple, although again, I would recommend doing it NOT while your precocious and high energy wee one is in the room with you. Then you’re taking the install to Survivor-challenge level of difficulty as your tiny tot uses your back like a spring board, flinging themselves onto your legs with the care free nature that only someone with no fear of physical injury care truly muster and maintain. She also really wanted to get to the shiney nuts and bolts in my hands as I frantically worked to screw things into place against a timer of her temprament and the dwindling shot clock counting down to her nap time. In short, the product works but my approach and timing was ill timed and not adviseable.

09-06-2025I opted to purchase this Guard rail for my daughters converted crib rather than the one that was made for the bed. I liked that this one seemed to cover more of the side and had the option to fold down. The one that was made for the bed was much more expensive and was only on one side. Shes a pretty active sleeper and I was afraid shed turn herself around or scoot down and roll out. I was able to put this together on my own, but I did have to use a screw driver to help get it attached to the bed, it was a little awkward to do - My arms were not long enough to do it from the front of the bed, so I had to do it from behind through the crib rails. I did also notice that the mattress seemed to have a slight tilt towards the railing after installed. I didnt think too much of it, but then realized every night my daughter would start in the middle of the mattress and eventually roll towards the guard rail. I put small long box under the bed on that side which seemed to even it back out and she stopped rolling to wards the railing. Other feedback is that the option to lower the rail is great, but its a little difficult to do. I have to get down so I can use both my hands and my chin to get it lowered. Otherwise I cant pull the locks up and get it lowered all at the same time. Maybe just user error? Overall it is doing exactly what we need it to do!

> 3 dayWorked great for my 2 yr old transitioning from crib to toddler bed. He would sleep laying against it so it’s pretty sturdy & I had breathable mesh.

> 3 dayInstallation was a bit tough. I believe the problem was with the way the crib spring is set up. It went together easy enough.. Works well so far. Arrived quickly. Overall pleased.
