We installed this on my sons crib when he was about 19 months old. Have not had any problems. He loves his bed, learned to get into it and get out of it on his own through the sides. Has never fallen out of so far (been using it for about 2 months now). My only criticism is that while the rail is attached securely - it is a little loose and moves a bit. I would have preferred if it was attached in a more sturdy fashion.

Works well and is easy to use if you are familiar with how these are supposed to work but did not come with any instructions and my box was open on both ends when I took it out of the bag which made for an interesting experience.

We ordered this to use with a Delta brand convertible crib because the Delta conversion kit was sold out everywhere. It was very easy to assemble. We ended up installing it underneath the wire mattress support so it didn’t leave a gap between the mattress and the support. However, to do that, we had to raise the mattress up a level. My daughter can get in and out of bed still but I’m not crazy about how it looks. We also had to zip tie the bed rail to the mattress frame to keep it from sliding around. Hiccapop includes Velcro straps to reduce sliding, but we couldn’t get them tight enough to make a difference. Unfortunately, we lost the ability to fold the bed rail down due to the way we had to zip tie it. Overall, it’s an okay product. I think it will keep her from rolling onto the floor but I’m not crazy about all the extra adjustments we had to make to get it to fit our crib.

Our toddler was transitioned out of the crib and proceeded to roll out of bed most nights. This works and now we all sleep through the night!

At first I wasn’t sure how I would feel about ordering this. I tried my best to look for a crib rail that actually was suppose to go with the crib and I couldn’t seem to find one and then I came across this. I noticed there’s some bad reviews and there’s also some good ones. I was a bit worried at first on even ordering this but I am so glad I did. It was super easy to put together. My 1 year old literally loved being able to sleep in his “big boy” bed. With this crib rail, I now do not have to worry about him rolling off the bed or anything at all. I honestly recommend this! We love it!!

When the day comes that your toddler starts scaling their crib rails and you have to remove a side rail, you probably will want to add a low rail to avoid having your toddler roll out of the crib. No one is happy when a toddler rolls out of their bed in the middle of the night. Adding a side rail that is sturdy and stays in place is tricky if you have a steel spring frame that supports the mattress. Some add-on rails use nylon straps to hold the rail in place. That might work on a larger bed with a heavy mattress and a box spring. It does not work with a light crib mattress on a steel frame. The hiccapop rail includes two steel bars that go all the way across the steel spring frame and clamp to the far side. Velcro straps and provided to secure the near side. This provides a very sturdy support for the rail. As a mechanical engineer, I appreciate things that are structurally sound like the hiccapop Convertible Crib Bed Rail for Toddlers.

We ordered the bed rail guard from this company. We received a box with many missing parts to it. The box seemed unopened/tampered with and all the items (that were there) were very carefully packaged. We reached out to the company. They apologized and refunded our money. No need to return the few parts we did receive. Soon after we got a message that they had sent us a gift as part of the apology. We did not expect it to be their foam bed bumper! So we are reviewing their product based on this gift and not what we ordered. At first we were sure they were not going to work. They seemed to much like a pillow that would be easy to just roll over and fall as usual. Surprisingly this has not been the case. They are soft and they are comfortable enough to not interfere with sleep when turning into them but they do keep the body within the bed. They are not easily jumped over in the middle of the night. No more picking up the child from the middle of the floor in the middle of the night! They do have a slight smell to them upon opening the box but airing them out for a day did the trick. No more boxed up smell. The liner makes it easy to insert under the mattress and to clean when accidents happen by simply removing it and throwing it in the wash. The little grips at the bottom are helpful in keeping them in place. Over all we were gifted a great product and are happy to review it.

Perfect for nap time! I don’t have to worry about my toddler falling out of the crib. Very easy to put together. I put it together all by myself within 20 minutes, start to finish. I recommend this to any parent who’s toddler is transitioning.

These were easy to assemble. And can be taken apart for easy storage when not in need.

I was very skeptical about this at first but I’ve had it for maybe 2 years now and it’s held up. I would say make sure it fits your type of bed. Mine didn’t but I made it work by using zip ties at the bottom. But it does the job. Even with my son constantly pushing on it and everything. There’s now a little hole but that’s mainly because he keeps picking at it. I really recommend if you’re trying make sure then little one doesn’t roll off the end like mine used too
