> 3 dayI took this on a 55 mile hike into the Grand Canyon, it was lightweight, love the fact that it has airflow on the back. It was the perfect size for all the long day hikes.

> 3 dayI purchased this pack for use at Disney World initially and thought it would be perfect for short hikes or to leave in the back of the Jeep for whenever I need to make a quick trip through the woods for the perfect picture. My camera fit perfectly with a rain coat and I had room for the $2 refill popcorn bucket too. The first day there, this past Saturday, it rained while we were at Animal Kingdom, I debated leaving the camera behind, the rain was forecast to clear up by noon and I really wanted some pictures of the Pandora area, since the bag had the rain cover I went ahead and packed the camera. During the rain I opened the bag a couple time (while inside) to check that things were dry and all looked good. Mid to late morning the rain cleared out and I was ready to take some pictures. I reached in, grabbed the camera and the side of the camera facing down was dripping wet. I looked in the bag and there was standing water. I pulled off the rain proof cover and water fell out. My Nikon d750 is trashed and didn’t have the camera for our big trip. The cover fits snuggly around the back and sides of the bag, but does not provide any protection between your back and the bag. Rain must have funneled down my back and into the bottom of the rain cover collecting on the pocket it forms. I think the inside of the bag would have been drier if I did not use the cover and water should shed or drain off. Maybe it’s my fault for not thinking the mechanics of the rain cover through. This bag, with the rain cover, is in no way waterproof and should not be used in wet weather with contents that must remain dry.

Greater than one weekI’m 5’5” and this is a great size for me. Have used it as a carry on item on a flight as well as a daytime hike backpack.

08-06-2025The sprung back is the best ventilation system on rucksacks and its unusual to find it on a smaller day bag. Highly recommended. Can easily accommodate a jacket, fleece, water bottles & snacks.

Greater than one weekMe gusto mucho este morral. El tamaño es perfecto para salidas cortas, muy cómodo para la espalda. Este morral lo utilizo para mis jornadas en campo, y me encanto. Además el producto llegó de acuerdo a las fotos y especificaciones del proveedor.

> 3 dayIm 61, weigh 280 lbs., and have struggled to find hiking gear that doesnt remind me that I dont fit in with the hiking crowd. This bag does just that - its light, offers good support, doesnt run up against my back, and is just the right size for my foray into hiking. The straps are adjustable so they offer the proper support to take weight off your lower back and provide enough space so you dont feel crunched up or unnecessarily restricted. My only complaint was the waist strap, which was not long enough (i.e. my gut not small enough) to fit around my waist. However, the waist strap can be removed until youre in a position to fit into it. Otherwise, this bag is perfect for day walking trips.

> 3 dayNice backpack, second one I have bought. Loaned the 1st one to my son. Worked well for him on his day hikes in the Southwest US. So its now a permanent loan.
