Greater than one weekI am a regular day hiker doing 8-14miles. I bought this backpack for its design that allows very good ventilation on the back. No more sticky-sweaty backpack :) Easily carry a gallon of water, still has just enough space for a jacket and lunchbox. The metal frame keeps it well balanced. It features all the adjustments that one can desire, chest, shoulder and hip straps. All very well built. Chest strap has a built in whistle. It comes with a rain cover that stealthily goes into a zip pocket at the base, which also doubles up as a cushion.

> 3 dayWe use this as a diaper bag because we are always on the go-go-go with the kids and needed something lightweight that could carry all our stuff! We usually carry two water bottles, one for each kid, a change of clothes for each kid, some diapers, some wipes, and some snacks and this pack can easily manage all that PLUS room for more all while being extraordinarily lightweight and comfortable to wear around. One of the best things is the side pouches for the water bottles. When you bend over to pick up ...I dont know whatever one of a million things your kid has dropped that you need to pick up...the water bottles stay secure in their pockets but they are accessible enough for a *quick* grab when you need it.

08-06-2025This is an awesome little pack. It’s little but that is what I wanted. It’s really comfortable and breathable. It does have ridged supports in it so don’t expect to fold it up in a little ball.

> 3 dayI purchased this pack for use at Disney World initially and thought it would be perfect for short hikes or to leave in the back of the Jeep for whenever I need to make a quick trip through the woods for the perfect picture. My camera fit perfectly with a rain coat and I had room for the $2 refill popcorn bucket too. The first day there, this past Saturday, it rained while we were at Animal Kingdom, I debated leaving the camera behind, the rain was forecast to clear up by noon and I really wanted some pictures of the Pandora area, since the bag had the rain cover I went ahead and packed the camera. During the rain I opened the bag a couple time (while inside) to check that things were dry and all looked good. Mid to late morning the rain cleared out and I was ready to take some pictures. I reached in, grabbed the camera and the side of the camera facing down was dripping wet. I looked in the bag and there was standing water. I pulled off the rain proof cover and water fell out. My Nikon d750 is trashed and didn’t have the camera for our big trip. The cover fits snuggly around the back and sides of the bag, but does not provide any protection between your back and the bag. Rain must have funneled down my back and into the bottom of the rain cover collecting on the pocket it forms. I think the inside of the bag would have been drier if I did not use the cover and water should shed or drain off. Maybe it’s my fault for not thinking the mechanics of the rain cover through. This bag, with the rain cover, is in no way waterproof and should not be used in wet weather with contents that must remain dry.
