> 3 dayI bought this pack after reading many reviews. I wanted a pack enough that was big enough for a long hike but also one that did not look ridiculous to bring on a short day hike. When I came across this one I was instantly smitten. It arrived right before I was scheduled to go on a 6 mile hike the next day. The pack was lighweight, it held my snacks for the hike, my wallet, my hydroflask and polaroid camera all in the main compartment. It was nice because there is a small compartment in the front where you can put your sunglasses and its supposed to be antiscratch. I kept my sunglasses on so I did not get to try that feature on. I also kept my hydroflask in the main big compartment even though it fits in the side mesh pocket for watter bottles I just was a bit nervous that my hydroflask would stretch out that mesh part since it was a bit of a tight squeeze. I loved this pack - it was easy to carry, it was a hot day and there was breathability on my back despite the 6 mile hike I was able to feel a nice breeze on my back carrying the pack the entire time. I would definitely recommend. Next is just buying the water reservoir for it! (it does not come with one).

> 3 dayVery happy! Makes a great daypack. Keeps the pack off the back so lots of circulation, which is especially good in the hot Southern California heat.

Greater than one weekI love this pack! Use it on my day hikes and even used it hiking to half dome. I chose this one because of the back style which is very comfortable and cooling and also because it was the only small affordable osprey I could find with trekking pole loops. Would definitely recommend!

> 3 dayI am a regular day hiker doing 8-14miles. I bought this backpack for its design that allows very good ventilation on the back. No more sticky-sweaty backpack :) Easily carry a gallon of water, still has just enough space for a jacket and lunchbox. The metal frame keeps it well balanced. It features all the adjustments that one can desire, chest, shoulder and hip straps. All very well built. Chest strap has a built in whistle. It comes with a rain cover that stealthily goes into a zip pocket at the base, which also doubles up as a cushion.

> 3 dayI love this bag it’a basicly a “mini backpacking backpack”. The frame and the air space between the bag and ones back make it so much more comfortable then more traditional day packs

> 3 dayPerfect for long hikes. Keeps your back dry and very comfortable. Straps are sturdy enough to attach your camera or other gear. I needed a backpack that was large enough for a 3-8 hour hike but light and comfortable.

> 3 dayWe use this as a diaper bag because we are always on the go-go-go with the kids and needed something lightweight that could carry all our stuff! We usually carry two water bottles, one for each kid, a change of clothes for each kid, some diapers, some wipes, and some snacks and this pack can easily manage all that PLUS room for more all while being extraordinarily lightweight and comfortable to wear around. One of the best things is the side pouches for the water bottles. When you bend over to pick up ...I dont know whatever one of a million things your kid has dropped that you need to pick up...the water bottles stay secure in their pockets but they are accessible enough for a *quick* grab when you need it.

Greater than one weekThe trampoline suspension works incredibly well keeping my back dry on hikes. The material is lightweight but incredibly thin to where on the orange pack, if its packed full you can see whats pressing up against it. The rain cover is a nice touch to have since if this got wet, it would be soaked instantly. I have the Daylite pack too and the problem with that one is the side pockets design is horrible to where everything falls out. The side pockets on this pack is deep and holds things in place. Overall, very good pack!

Greater than one weekThe internal frame is a unique feature for a day-hike size pack and really makes this pack easy to wear all day without being uncomfortable.
