> 3 dayI like the size of the bags, how sturdy they are and so easy to lift because of the built-in handles.

> 3 dayThese are some kind of awesome kitchen trash bags! I searched for alternatives to what I believe are less-than-good products now in the stores, the big name brands - they are too short in length for regular, tall kitchen trash cans, and they are getting thinner all the time. Just because they stretch doesnt mean a thing if the bag is 5-6 shorter in length than the can. Read several good reviews on the product, and at the price, just couldnt resist when compared to the outrageous price one pays even in the big box discount stores. They feel like true 9mm bags or more - like used to be able to find years ago. They are long - fit all the way down into the can. I stuff mine full, and have yet to have even the smallest tear or puncture when tossing them around, dragging them to the trash can. The tops fit snugly around the can, they do NOT slide down into the can when near full, and even when near full, I will tug on them a bit upward while shaking the trash down, and they still hold even more trash!!! no leaks, either in the can, or when pull them out and place them aside to put in another bag. PLUS THEY COST LESS than the big-name brands!!!!! What a no brainer!!! I will indeed buy them again when I run out, but that wont be for awhile b/c each bag lasts a whole lot longer b/c it holds more! Oops, guess I best buy a spare box in case cant get them a year or so from now, huh? This is truly an excellent product at a very fair price. Totally recommend this product, and would even recommend if it was the same price or slightly more than the big name brands. NO, I am not a paid reviewer, I have no incentive to post this review other than to help other real live purchasing Amazon customers make an informed decision. Personally, I detest what Amazon is allowing to happen with the starred ratings becoming skewed by years and years of reviewers that have been given a product free of charge in return for an honest review. My review is based on my personal use of this product, and Im taking time out of my busy schedule to try and balance the scales a bit in my own little way by helping out other real live purchasers know a TRULY GREAT product and a GREAT BUY when they read my review.

> 3 dayI had been using the kitchen trash bags from Dollar Tree for years. Theyre trash bags, I wanted cheap as possible. I never saw the point in buying expensive trash bags lol. So I hesitated about buying these trash bags for I think $13? But wow!!! They are thick!!!! I have used a bunch so far and no issues. I throw away boxes, various sharp corners and edges, and there are no big tears or anything. They make it through my collecting the trash, and all the way to the dumpster at the back of the parking lot in tact. Theyre nothing like the Dollar Tree trash bags lol. i had dealt with DT bags falling apart, rips and tears, having to double up the bags, etc. The DT price is tons better of course, but you get what you pay for with those. These trash bags are more expensive, but very worth the price. The handles are great and I prefer them over drawstring or using twist ties. The strip at the bottom does seem to help like its supposed to. Theyre still see through somewhat, but maybe the black ones are better for trash privacy? I got the white ones because theyre cheaper.

> 3 dayLong before discovering Hippo Sak, I had said a vehement, fervent, unequivocal NO to any tall kitchen trash bag that involved plastic drawstring handles. The reason being, those bags ALWAYS fell down into the can -- no matter what the brand, what the dimensions, what the thickness, what the price of said bags. And if there is anything that makes me surly, it is the can liner falling down into the bag when you throw something into the trash. SO I discovered (years ago) that the solution to that was buying ONLY handle-tie trash bags -- as in, the handles and the bag are all ONE PIECE and there is no drawstring effect. Im not sure why, but no matter what the brand, what the dimensions, what the thickness, and what the price, this type of bag NEVER caves in but stays snug around the rim until youre ready to remove it. From thenceforth and forever, any type of tall can liner except those with handle-ties were denied entrance into my home. But then, eventually, the type of trash can liner Id come to know and love became -- I have no idea why -- difficult to find on the shelves of my local one-stop retailer, which shelves were crammed to bulging with drawstring-tie can liners, as though that was all anyone wanted. So I went on a fishing expedition on Amazon and discovered Hippo Sak. Reviewed the ratings (all deeming these bags outstanding), ordered some, and HALLELUJAH! This trash can liner is ALL THAT and then some. You want handle ties? The top of this bag is generous to the point that the handles snugly hug the outside of the can for several inches down from the top. Youre never going to have any part of that bag falling into the can, no matter what you throw at it. In fact, theres so much room left in the top of these bags after youve topped off your trash can, that you can remove it and add lots more trash before carrying everything outside by those extra-generous and sturdy handles. I go around the house and gather all of the smaller wastebaskets and empty them into the top of the Hippo Sak and still have a hard time filling it. This bag is extra thick and strong and can take all the trash you feed it. Absolutely the most luxuriant and efficient trash can liner available on the market, as far as I am concerned. The big box lasts forever, too. Get yours today.

> 3 dayI have only used 2 bags so far, but these 13 gal tall kitchen waste bags are of very good quality. They are a good thickness, no tearing or ripping, and the handles are very easy to tie and sturdy to use for carrying. The bags fit tightly around the top of the trash can so there is no slipping. They are also easy to remove. Other plastic trash bags I have purchased have stuck together and have been a bear to open due to static, but these are very easy to open up and use. Highly recommended.

Greater than one weekThe 90 ct 13 gallon box was $14 in 2021. Now $20 for same. Seriously? Lets not forget, these are trash bags. Are they price gouging because people like these? Hippo Sak may be getting greedy. Ill be looking for similar alternatives.

Greater than one weekWe bought a Krusher (trash can with compacting lid). Once you put the bag in, it would trap air on the sides reducing space. Also if you compacted too much, the bag would rip. I randomly found these Hipposak trash bags at the grocery store. Were pricey but I wanted to take advantage of my trash can features. These trash bags were perfect! The handles acted in two ways. One they made it easier to pull the bag out with one hand while holding the trash can down with the other. Secondly, the handles providing openings for air to easily escape when you compacted the trash. As far as durability, I have been using these for about 6 months now and not one has ripped or punctured. I started buying these on Amazon because I can buy them in bulk and it makes them the same price as a name brand bag. These trash bags and my trash can have made life easier. We do not make a ton of trash but we live in a townhome that requires a good walk to dispose of the trash. So no worries here. We take the trash out less and do not have to worry about breaks on the way to the outdoor trash can.
