> 3 dayWe bought a Krusher (trash can with compacting lid). Once you put the bag in, it would trap air on the sides reducing space. Also if you compacted too much, the bag would rip. I randomly found these Hipposak trash bags at the grocery store. Were pricey but I wanted to take advantage of my trash can features. These trash bags were perfect! The handles acted in two ways. One they made it easier to pull the bag out with one hand while holding the trash can down with the other. Secondly, the handles providing openings for air to easily escape when you compacted the trash. As far as durability, I have been using these for about 6 months now and not one has ripped or punctured. I started buying these on Amazon because I can buy them in bulk and it makes them the same price as a name brand bag. These trash bags and my trash can have made life easier. We do not make a ton of trash but we live in a townhome that requires a good walk to dispose of the trash. So no worries here. We take the trash out less and do not have to worry about breaks on the way to the outdoor trash can.

> 3 dayThis product is better than the name brand product. Name brand would puncture and tear easily from a cardboard box corner (I mean like frozen dinner box). This bag is really sturdy. Ive got this one on my subscription list.

> 3 daySo glad I found these! Recycling in my city is every two weeks. So I would buy cheap bags and the bag would be bulging with bottles, cans, and torn-down boxes as the 14th day approached. And the jagged box edges would cut the sides of the bag so I bought the cheapest I could find and hoped a bag would survive two weeks--with those holes in it, it could not be trusted to try for another two weeks. But these bags are so strong, I am still using the first one for a fourth 2 week period and it does not have a single hole in it yet! I empty the clean recyclables from the Hippo kitchen bag into the rolling tote outside and then I return that same bag to the kitchen for reuse. The box of 90 is going to handle my recycling for years. Now I buy cheap bags for garbage because those are bags I will not re-use.

> 3 dayFinally a no stink, decent weight, tall kitchen garbage bag! The handles are a bit clunky but they are very sturdy. I am tired of all the offensive perfumes manufacturers put in products. They are so strong that they even leach into supposedly non-scented products stored near them. Man made scents are toxic to the human body. Trying to cover up an unpleasant ordor with another irritating chemical is contributing to the higher rates of people with allergies and asthma. This product is a good way to start detoxifying yourself. Update: We have used these for several weeks now and can honestly say these are the best kitchen bags we have ever used. Since I am in my late 60’s and my husband is in his 70’s, thats a long time. My husband is stingy and would always refuse to double line our garbage pail. Consequently, the older thinner bags we once used would leak and I would have to clean up the mess. Not so with the current bags! They do not leak and the design is such that taking them out of the pail is easy. I originally didnt know if I would like the tail ties but I am a believer now. So easy to carry and they dont cut into my skin. Please dont ever go out of business without letting me know so I can buy a case.

Greater than one weekThe best kitchen trash bags I have ever purchased. The Handle Ties are great and the extra one length of the trash bag helps more than you would think. Best Kitchen trash bag you can buy IMHO. Stay safe!

> 3 dayI first purchased these at Kroger, but they dont carry them anymore. Glad I can still get them through Amazon, because they are sturdier than ANY other garbage bag Ive EVER used, and Im 69, so Ive used em all, sonny! Love the handles too! Extra strong reinforced bottom! And it uses recycled plastic collected from the ocean, so they do their part to be responsible caretakers of the planet. Hippo saks.Saks.. good name!

> 3 dayBest bags for tall kitchen trash cans. Good/sturdy thickness and has a fitted bottom. Just the right width to go into can easily and yet slightly hugs top of can. The large handles make removal quick and smooth.
