I had been using the kitchen trash bags from Dollar Tree for years. Theyre trash bags, I wanted cheap as possible. I never saw the point in buying expensive trash bags lol. So I hesitated about buying these trash bags for I think $13? But wow!!! They are thick!!!! I have used a bunch so far and no issues. I throw away boxes, various sharp corners and edges, and there are no big tears or anything. They make it through my collecting the trash, and all the way to the dumpster at the back of the parking lot in tact. Theyre nothing like the Dollar Tree trash bags lol. i had dealt with DT bags falling apart, rips and tears, having to double up the bags, etc. The DT price is tons better of course, but you get what you pay for with those. These trash bags are more expensive, but very worth the price. The handles are great and I prefer them over drawstring or using twist ties. The strip at the bottom does seem to help like its supposed to. Theyre still see through somewhat, but maybe the black ones are better for trash privacy? I got the white ones because theyre cheaper.

This item used to be carried in my Local Kroger store. During a remodel, these were taken off the shelves which has caused me to buy them from Amazon. When I say, I love these trash bags, I am not exaggerating. They have an actual handle, not a weak drawstring. Those of you who said, “the ones I use don’t have a weak drawsting!” These bags also dont cut off the circulation to your fingers because the drawstrings are cutting into your hands. They are well made. I’ve never, in my 3 years of buying has one ever broke on me or ripped. I also must point out - they are made in the USA!!!

Bar none, these trash bags are simply exquisite. If you have a trash can with specially-fitted bags, those *might* be better for those specific cans, but these ones are absolutely show-stopping in every other case. The bottom of the bag is very heavily reinforced, to the point where I havent even once been worried about it busting even when holding 30+ pounds of garbage, and the handles are quite comfortable (especially compared to standard drawstring bags). Absolute recommendation, these are the bags you want.

I absolutely love these trash bags! They are strong, I have been using them for a couple of years now, this is my 3rd time ordering the huge box full. And out of all those bags not one has broken or ripped or spilled anything in the floor. That is amazing in and of itself, but the fact is that everyone in this house tends to overfill before finally taking the trash out and putting a new bag in. Including me. Anyway, they are easy to get out of the can, easy to tie, and as already stated, they dont spill and make a mess in the house. Someone else already mentioned how they fit into the can and dont slide down into the can when the trash is tossed in, and I wish to add AMEN to that. They stay put and are easily lifted out and easily tied and I cant say enough good about them. I prefer them over the force flex, which were my bags of choice before. Not to mention the price is far better, especially when you buy in bulk as I do. Thanks for a super great trash bag!!!!!

The 90 ct 13 gallon box was $14 in 2021. Now $20 for same. Seriously? Lets not forget, these are trash bags. Are they price gouging because people like these? Hippo Sak may be getting greedy. Ill be looking for similar alternatives.

As far as Im concerned these are the best garbage bags in the history of the universe. Theyre strong, they are roomy & actually fit the garbage can. The handles are for real functional for carrying & for tying the bags shut. I like these so much that theyre the only item that I have subscribed to auto ship. The big box lasts my family of 4 about 6 months. I never knew Id be so excited about garbage bags. *EDIT* Ive taken a star away from my original review, because the price has skyrocket. Theyre still the best, its just that theyre no longer a great value.

***updated review after months of using to add: these bags really are the best. Ive converted many friends that cant get over how they never rip, fit & easily come out of garbage cans, etc. buy these bags, you wont be sorry!*** Ok, so it seems kinda strange to be writing a review on garbage bags. But when you think about it....how many times do garbage bags annoy you? And every one of those times its a messy, gross problem to deal with. The bag rips, leaks or gets stuck in the dang can and it takes 2 people to free it, ripping it in the process. Arg!! These bags though...they will change your life. Your garbage process will now seamless, ripless & without smelly, sticky leaks. The bags go in easy. The handles are snug on the top, enough so that the bag never falls in, yet its not hard to get on. When full you can easily slide the bag up without any issues. A novel idea, make the bags the appropriate size for the cans! No more bags getting stuck, needing two or five people to wrestle the dang bag out. And because they are the right size, you dont over fill them, making them easy to pick up! The handle ties are AWESOME. This was the one thing I was worried Id hate but I now prefer it big time. Im almost through my first large box of these bags. I havent had a single leak, rip, defective bag or issue. Not one. Every bag has been seamless, issue-free perfection. I will only buy these bags as long as I live. They rock!

Love these trash bags! They are well made, not flimsy. They don’t tear when you stuff them full!

Ill never buy the store-bought brands. This is a superior product.
