> 24 hourMy eloquent daughter has her own style and way of doing things. With her green hair and feminine taste. I wanted something to add to her likeness. She walks to work rain or shine. So your parasol was a perfect choice that protected her from harmful uv rays yet also was rainproof! Out of the two styles I selected she fell in love with this one. I also hope to see her professional photographer boyfriend use it in any photos shoot of her in the near future.

> 24 hourI really love the parasol. The workmanship is beautiful. Putting it back in the umbrella holder was a tight fit and not so easy. Have no regrets about the purchase.

> 24 hourVery big and very heavy! I’m very tall and have wide shoulders, and this parasol protects me well! I don’t love the pattern I got though, I should have chosen a different one. But that’s on me lol

> 24 hourInitially it worked fine but after using it and opening and closing it a couple of times it suddenly began to be unable to stay open

> 24 hourThe embroidery was lovely, though the actual shade/coverage area was smaller than expected. Probably comfortable for an small woman. Arrived with cracked finial/cap on top. Customer service promised a replacement, though it has not arrive in more than 5 months. Metal pieces seemed sturdy, though the handle was not very comfortable to hold. It does screw on, so would be relatively easy to switch.

> 24 hourThis parasol is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The detail and application are exceptional. I am so pleased with my purchase.

> 24 hourThe umbrella itself is utterly gorgeous once open. Open the picture doesnt do it justice. Once folded and strapped you can carry it in a generously sized medium bag. (Also abig selling point for me.) However (why this isnt 5 stars), the process of open/clos-ing it leaves much to be desired. Manual opening should be simple and be graceful. The struts that fold the canopy should fold the right direction easily. It needs each struct to be manipulated by hand to make it open or close the umbrella. This isnt hard to do, but it is an extra step each way and makes the process neither smooth nor graceful. If the struts ran smoothly, toggling easily in the appropriate direction it would get a 4.5. If it had the inner liner hemmed or edged, it would be a 5. If it had automatic opening (button operation) plus the Hem ...it would be a 6 plus!

> 24 hourI ordered the parasol to use during a Dixieland style funeral procession for a family member in rural North Dakota. The parasol comes in a nice compact bag that can be easily placed in your purse or bag. The rods/spines have a locking clasp in the center of each that need to done one by one, but its only a slight inconvenience. The parasol is sturdy enough to withstand the constant breezes we have here and held up marvelously during our parade. The sequins and appliques throughout are vibrant, delicate and gorgeous which resulted in many compliments. It could be used in a light rain, but I think it will stand up best using it for shade.

> 24 hourThe blackout fabric on the underside is actually black. The sequins and beaded embroidery are done very well. I wish it came with a wrist loop and a storage bag. You have to lock each of the stays in place before opening initially.

> 24 hourReally pretty umbrella/parasol. It has a nylon lining so it will protect against rain. My only issue with it is that because its designed to fold up backwards from a traditionally built umbrella, its not easy to open or close. Keep that in mind if using for a sudden rain.
