> 3 dayI got so many compliments on this. The liner is plastic and it can tear. It’s not flimsy but not super durable. You probably wouldn’t carry this in strong wind. It does a beautiful job of blocking out the sun. It casts a shadow and not dappled light. The decoration is stunningly gorgeous. It does fold up so that you can carry it in matching case. I would buy again. I think you’ll love it.

10-06-2025It’s packed in a way I’m not sure I’ll duplicate. It folds like a regular umbrella but then folds backwards half way down the spines, like a little purse type umbrella. But you have to force them to snap correctly. Without repeating this, it’ll never go back into the bag. Oh well. It’s a thick black plastic material, I’m sure for sun, with a lace type overlay. Very decorative. I’m not sure if the black will radiate heat down on you. I was expecting gray with cream, it’s a hard core silver and gold. Like costume gold. It’s going back. I guess I’ll try my luck at another color

Greater than one weekI like it but the black underneath makes it a little bigger and so not as easy to fold. I bought it for a trip to NOLA.

> 3 daythe umbrella is beautiful but the top wooden part of the umbrella stick fell off immediately after taking it out of the back and shattered like glass. It was glooed on poorly, but the rest of the umbrella is one of the most gorgeous ive ever seen. the lace looked gorgeous at my festival and I stood out from the crowd.
