> 3 daythe umbrella is beautiful but the top wooden part of the umbrella stick fell off immediately after taking it out of the back and shattered like glass. It was glooed on poorly, but the rest of the umbrella is one of the most gorgeous ive ever seen. the lace looked gorgeous at my festival and I stood out from the crowd.

Greater than one weekYou never know what to expect with these, but you cant fault the colors or shininess with this parasol. The folding mechanism is a bit convoluted, as individual arms have to be folded down, and then back up, but its awesome and with a think black plastic layer on the inside of the parasol, does the job of creating shade.

Since its February I haven t taken the umbrella out yet but I think I made the right decision to opt for the actual UV protection combined with beauty! Another reason to look forwards to summer. As for unfolding, the other customers were right -- finicky. My husband helped me find out how. The parasol looks like a jewel. I picked gray, which will go well with some garments. Not intending to fold it back into that lovely pouch it came in, lol. But instead I am using that pouch to carry my fan in it.

> 3 dayVery difficult to open. Half the ribs required help. Two of them are iffy, may poke through the fabric. I love it but am afraid to close it. I think a stick type would be better. It definitely is beautiful, as shown in the picture.
