When I ordered this, I had no idea it would have an ugly black plastic lining or a long black handle. I probably could have lived with the lining but the photos showed a metallic handle. I expected it to match the design. This us just ugly! I also ordered the apricot version and the fabric was less cream and more a dingy gray. Not at all worth what they’re charging.

I bought this in the black and purple. It is absoltely beautiful however; extremely hard to open and a nightmare to close. It will not fit back in the accompanying umbrella bag. The underside of the umbrella is a thin piece of plastic vinyl which can easily rip. The strap that goes around the umbrella to keep it closed is attached to this plastic, not the umbrella so it can easily rip off if you pull it to hard to snap it closed. Not sure it is worth the price to take the chance on that. This would be best used for an occasional cosplay, but no where near good enough for every day use. I would not recommend this umbrella.

So I knew I had a wedding coming up that was a country wedding where they were having it on a farm and it was the end of july and from past years I know it will be hot. So I wanted to get umbrellas that would block the sun but went with our dresses. I ended up ordering two different colors. That was interesting as one said it would be there within a week and the other one was three weeks.....but it did make it before the quoted time!!!! Which was for the wedding so it worked out perfectly. They were beautiful and went with the dresses. Blocked the sun great. I would not put these in a full rain down pour but I imagine if it would have sprinkled it would not hurt the fabric. I was worried of it looking cheap but looked beautiful. I can not picture them being used a lot but any time something fancy comes up these will be some beautiful to pull out. Or give to anyone else that might have a wedding coming up or a photographer could use these in their pictures....they are so awesome. Not a big wedding we went to but still received high remarks on them!!!

It’s very ornate. A stylish accessory for certain. Will it protect you...? That I can’t say for sure.

This parasol is gorgeous, although a little clunky to work with. Im not a big fan of the 2-step fold which involves manually folding/unfolding the spines. This isnt an issue if youre planning on having the parasol up for a lengthy period of time. However, if youre going to be in & out of the sun, or in and out of crowds, its not easy to expand and retract quickly. I didnt realize that when I ordered it. That said, it really is a beautiful parasol and it makes quite a statement. Plus, the sellers customer service is very good. My original shipment came damaged and Honeystore quickly replaced it. I would definitely purchase from them again.
