> 24 hourBeautiful, great for the price, not so difficult as everyone mentions. I read a bunch of reviews and selected this company’s parasol in a 2-fold collapse. It’s gorgeous! I was nervous because so many people were complaining about opening and closing it as well as getting it back in the decorative baggie. I found no issue with these. I would not, however, recommend it to a parent that has children to wrangle.it only takes a moment but it’s gorgeous, and I don’t have the demands of little beasts... When you open it, ever single vein(?), holder upper (?), metal joint (?) needs to “click” into place. Don’t worry about extending it too far. It’s sort of unnerving at first but once I saw the clips and realized I had to go further than I’d opened it up, boom. Clicks. No problem. It’s really beautiful. I’m considering getting one to modify (self standing or clip on) for some projects I do outside. So pretty and functional!

> 24 hourThis is intended to be a gift for a friend, who is going to be living abroad for a few years. I read about the region in which she will be living, and it gets really, really hot there in the summer. She is going to want to do some touristy traveling, and she will walk a lot. A parasol seemed like a good bon voyage gift. What a beautiful parasol!!! It is small enough to really be a parasol--not a big, rain umbrella. I have read that black lining really works against UV rays. That was one of our concerns with a parasol. This parasol has a black lining, but it is not at all overwhelming to the beautiful top. It comes with a cute, matching bag. I had read the reviews saying that a person will never get the parasol back into the bag. I did. It took a little bit, but I did it. Cant wait for our friend to open this gift. Some folks in the reviews mentioned that the parasol was a little difficult to open and close. There are directions for how to open the parasol on the gift box, however, a little more instruction would have been helpful, like how to snap and unsnap the ribs. At first, I was afraid I was going to break something. It also takes some time to open and close, but it is so worth the time. There was a little bracelet/charm item enclosed with the parasol. I am not sure what it is. Does it go on the parasol somehow? It is cute. I just dont know what it is for. Like I said before--this is beautiful! Our friend is just going to love it!

> 24 hourIt blocks out sun and rain completely. Very beautiful and the carrying case is gorgeous as well. It almost looks like a fancy wine bottle sleeve or something. LOVE IT! Pay attention to the directions on how to unfold the spines and youll be good to go!

> 24 hourBest UV protection umbrella pretty much EVER. Beautiful, compact, and easy to use. The handle isnt super comfortable to hold all day but its a small price to pay for such excellent sun protection. I love this umbrella.

> 24 hourAbsolutely beautiful parasol for my daughter. However they pretty much uninvented the umbrella. I comes inside out and you have to pop it into place with flimsy catches and then disassembled it every time you want to put it away. Also comes with a beautiful case, but the clasp was broken when it came. Still going to give it to my daughter because it is beautiful, but disappointed and how it functions.

> 24 hourThis parasol is both lovely and functional. In my part of the U.S., the summers are hot and humid. This parasol makes it possible for me to go outside anyway. The outside is VERY glittery--if youre not into sparkle, then its not for you. And yes, it is lined with solid black vinyl--that actually keeps the sun from shining through. You are taking your own shade with you wherever you go.

> 24 hourPurchased this awhile back, its beautiful in design, has sequins, matterial of the umbrella is well made other then the flimsy handle, hard to open and hard to fold nicely. Returned it because it wasnt my style with sequins, will probably purchase again some other time.
