> 24 hourThe item is beautiful. I cannot wait to give it to my mom for mother’s day. My only complaint, and the reason why I took a star away, was the umbrella mechanism. It is pretty clunky and hard to gather all the folded section to close it and tie it closed.

> 24 hourThis is the first parasol I have bought and I am absolutely pleased. I was afraid that it would look cheap and would be shoddily constructed. However, the embroidered designs and sequence are all well done and the construction of the parasol as a whole is well made. I bought the triple folding one to put into my purse/bag for when I go out (for any reason). I live in New Mexico and the sun is very direct and has become somewhat painful due to medications I take, but the parasol has worked great. I am shielded from the worst of the heat and is pretty wind resistant. The only negative or two is that the case that holds the parasol is extremely hard to get back in after the first fold. I would have also loved a bigger loop to put over my wrist. Otherwise, it is far prettier and well made than I would have believed and thought. If only they had complimentary fans to go with the parasol I would be set. I would definitely recommend and am gonna buy a few more for different occasions. **UPDATE** So I have had this parasol for over a year and it is truly a pleasure to use. I continuously receive compliments from people, and I am more than happy to tell them where I got it on Amazon. I also inform them that it is not just pretty but absolutely effective at protecting me from the sun. I live in New Mexico and the average temperature has been in the 90s so I use it to go to and from my appointments and errands. I dont even fold it all the way down as it slides into my purse (its medium to large purse). If there was anything I would change it would be the length of the handle. I would like it to be a few inches longer as I have a shoulder and arm injury and keeping my arm lifted, even slightly, for any period aggravates my injury. However, the usefulness makes it worth the discomfort. The other change would be to the handles itself. It is cute but almost impractical. I would love it to be a handle to slide my fingers through to have a more solid hold onto it Again, it is not such an issue that it prevents me from taking it with me everywhere. Now, that I have found out how great it is, I am about to buy several more to have for different outfits, events etc...If anyone is thinking to buy one, this is a great one to start out on. I have not been compensated for my opinion, I simply want to let people know a good buy.

> 24 hourDifficult to get it out and unfold. It was even more difficult to fold it up up. Not very practical for everyday use or occasional use. It is not a pull out, pop up, use. It will take a moment. Not recommended for rainy days where you want to pop in and out.

> 24 hourIts a beautiful unbrella, but some parts do look cheaply made. The unbrella is to be opened manually and folds kind of different, which I feel might cause it to break easy. The other thing that I didnt like about it was the black lining.. when I walk forward, all you see is black plastic lining, but if I walk away, you can see the beautiful design. The yellow is an actual champagne or gold color, very beautiful! So I liked it overall, but dont think it is worth the $30. I would buy again if price was better.

> 24 hourYes it is a 3 part fold umbrella, some find this hard to open and close. It is a little flimsy. Do not use this one a windy day it will brake, but thats most umbrellas. The handle is a little on the thin side. The water proof fabric on the under side is ok, not the best but not horrible. The lace however is the real problem in the rain. it is more for decoration or to use to block UV raise. It is a parasol and parasol are made to block the sun not rain. It does come with that cute little hand bag though.

> 24 hourIts a struggle to fold it so the bag buttons doesnt pop open when holding it by the straps, because of parasol not compacted as it was when it was shipped. Love the product dont get me wrong but would have loved institutions on how to fold it, back together so it can fit in the bag it comes with.

> 24 hourThis is so beautiful! I have never owned a parasol before and Im so happy I made this purchase The pictures do not do it justice. I did find the lovely carry bag too small to easily stuff the closed parasol back in, but thats ok - I dont really need. I just close it up and its small enough to put in my purse. Highly recommend and will purchase additional parasols from this seller.

> 24 hourYears ago I had a parasol I really liked. But after 30 years it disintegrated. When I saw these beautiful, colorful lace parasols I was delighted. I bought one for myself and one for a friend who’s going to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. She will be so surprised!
