13-06-2025I got this for sun protection and it works super well! It’s good as an accessory on its own, but the black fabric blocks all sun so it actually has a purpose. I was nervous getting a lighter color because I was afraid that the black would show through, but the fabric on top is opaque enough so that you can’t see through. My only complaint is that the handle is a little small so it’s awkward to hold

> 3 dayIts very beautiful I agree. Every thinks its so dainty. But geezer my only problem is when I open it I really have to fight and struggle as it is very very tight to open. I never used it coz I have an issue with my hands so Im thinking if just giving it away.

> 3 dayBest UV protection umbrella pretty much EVER. Beautiful, compact, and easy to use. The handle isnt super comfortable to hold all day but its a small price to pay for such excellent sun protection. I love this umbrella.

> 3 dayThis is so beautiful! I have never owned a parasol before and Im so happy I made this purchase The pictures do not do it justice. I did find the lovely carry bag too small to easily stuff the closed parasol back in, but thats ok - I dont really need. I just close it up and its small enough to put in my purse. Highly recommend and will purchase additional parasols from this seller.

> 3 dayIn order for it to be small the wire frame has to bend all kinds of weird directions and then, its not easy to open. Its beautiful and eye catching but way to much sequin when I thought it was just colored embroidery and lace. I have to get help to open it from my son because its so weird to open. But once its open, it is very beautiful and does have a protective lining from the sun. Im probably going to use it lots.

> 3 dayIn addition to being unusual in ornamentation, this is better than any sunhat to be found since it has a very wide diameter and can be (hand) tilted to any direction from where the sun is beating down. After watching the ladies at the Kentucky Derby with so many beautiful wide-brim hats, I was surprised that it was clearly shown that many still had the sun baking their faces and necks. Of course, at that particular event, parasols and umbrellas are prohibited (due to the possibility of spooking the animals); but nevertheless it was quite evident that even with the w-i-d-e chapeaus there was no possibility of completely avoiding being subject to skin cancer completely. Hence, while not for every setting (and, after all, having to keep one hand occupied at all times), this item is a marvelous alternative (while being quite fashionable) to wearing even the best hat (sun-proof versions included) around! Yes, it is pricey, but so worth saving up to get and consider it more of a necessity than a splurge. Gosh, think of this as cheaper than a good supply of additional quality sunscreen, much less a doctors visit! In addition, youll be getting tons of compliments! While a bit flashy, I opted for the grey tones as seemed to be the most subtle of choices - and Im very pleased with that choice! Hope this helps somebody to have an even happier and healthier summer!

Greater than one weekAbsolutely beautiful parasol for my daughter. However they pretty much uninvented the umbrella. I comes inside out and you have to pop it into place with flimsy catches and then disassembled it every time you want to put it away. Also comes with a beautiful case, but the clasp was broken when it came. Still going to give it to my daughter because it is beautiful, but disappointed and how it functions.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is absolutely beautiful, and I love carrying it. However, its fabric material is delicate even though structurally, the umbrella parts are sound. It is made of a fabric and lace material, and the thread has already snagged in one area. It is hard to protect it since I cannot make it fit into its original case after opening it the first time. It is gorgeous though, and I love it. Just be aware, this isnt a regular umbrella or sunbrella. You must treat it delicately when putting it away. This is its main con in my opinion. Its a high maintenance umbrella, but it is very pretty. It would also be nicer if it were an automatic one push to open umbrella which it is not.
