> 3 dayIts a beautiful unbrella, but some parts do look cheaply made. The unbrella is to be opened manually and folds kind of different, which I feel might cause it to break easy. The other thing that I didnt like about it was the black lining.. when I walk forward, all you see is black plastic lining, but if I walk away, you can see the beautiful design. The yellow is an actual champagne or gold color, very beautiful! So I liked it overall, but dont think it is worth the $30. I would buy again if price was better.

> 3 dayI am totally into gothic lolita fashion, but you can carry this anywhere at any time. Sometimes with casual clothes even, it doesnt have to be lolita. But the construction of the umbrella is excellent, truly blocks out sunlight. Ive brought it to the beach, and everywhere around SoCal during the 100 degree heatwaves, it saves lives! The only thing is, the way to put it away is very hard, because its sooo thick and bulky, its very very hard to put away efficiently. They should have made the closing strap have more room. I feel like Im super stretching that cord just to tie it up again.

Greater than one weekThe protection of the sun is fantastic.. In other hands, is a very fragile and low quality product frame.. It feels is going to brake just trying to open the umbrella.. Would l recommend this product? Only if you dont have durability expectations..

> 3 dayI expect sun and humidity for a New Orleans wedding in June. Because we will be outdoors for much of the celebration, I needed something to shield me from the bright sun. Ill be wearing navy blue and the navy blue umbrella matches perfectly. The sparkles and embroidery added just the right amount of pizzazz. My only complaint is the difficulty getting it back into the little carrying case....I dont think Ill ever be able to compress it back to the original size.

> 3 dayBeautiful, great for the price, not so difficult as everyone mentions. I read a bunch of reviews and selected this company’s parasol in a 2-fold collapse. It’s gorgeous! I was nervous because so many people were complaining about opening and closing it as well as getting it back in the decorative baggie. I found no issue with these. I would not, however, recommend it to a parent that has children to wrangle.it only takes a moment but it’s gorgeous, and I don’t have the demands of little beasts... When you open it, ever single vein(?), holder upper (?), metal joint (?) needs to “click” into place. Don’t worry about extending it too far. It’s sort of unnerving at first but once I saw the clips and realized I had to go further than I’d opened it up, boom. Clicks. No problem. It’s really beautiful. I’m considering getting one to modify (self standing or clip on) for some projects I do outside. So pretty and functional!

> 3 dayThis is intended to be a gift for a friend, who is going to be living abroad for a few years. I read about the region in which she will be living, and it gets really, really hot there in the summer. She is going to want to do some touristy traveling, and she will walk a lot. A parasol seemed like a good bon voyage gift. What a beautiful parasol!!! It is small enough to really be a parasol--not a big, rain umbrella. I have read that black lining really works against UV rays. That was one of our concerns with a parasol. This parasol has a black lining, but it is not at all overwhelming to the beautiful top. It comes with a cute, matching bag. I had read the reviews saying that a person will never get the parasol back into the bag. I did. It took a little bit, but I did it. Cant wait for our friend to open this gift. Some folks in the reviews mentioned that the parasol was a little difficult to open and close. There are directions for how to open the parasol on the gift box, however, a little more instruction would have been helpful, like how to snap and unsnap the ribs. At first, I was afraid I was going to break something. It also takes some time to open and close, but it is so worth the time. There was a little bracelet/charm item enclosed with the parasol. I am not sure what it is. Does it go on the parasol somehow? It is cute. I just dont know what it is for. Like I said before--this is beautiful! Our friend is just going to love it!

> 3 dayIt’s gorgeous but made in a strange way so it’s VERY difficult to operate and not practical.

> 3 dayDefinitely creates good shade here in Florida. I wish the canopy were larger, and I definitely wish the handle and stem were sturdier! It was a two person job to get it open the first time, and I havent dared double fold it again, not sure the joints would take it (though this is the second one of these Ive owned and the other folded and unfolded just fine!) But the design on the exterior is exactly as it looked in pictures, and is very pretty. I get lots of compliments. (Though I get lots of compliments on any parasol I carry! But this one is definitely a step up from paper!)
