> 3 dayFast, lightweight, works with 5g. Windows 11 is a bit difficult to adjust to. Screen is pretty small.

> 3 dayA few hours into trying to do typical updates and upgrades this appears to be manufactured e-waste.

> 3 dayNice well priced laptop. The AMD Ryzen 5 processor is fast and a great value in this HP laptop. I compared processors before purchasing and this was by far the best value I could find. Screen is bright and the keyboard has a nice feel. I replaces my older 17 laptop which had an i5 processor and this is much faster with all day battery life.

Greater than one weekI was very impressed with the power, however the touchpad and overall quality was very cheap.

> 3 dayI grabbed this laptop as a cheap machine for some light web use, but mostly programming. As soon as i received this machine, naturally my first step was to cure the SSD of the disease that is Windows and installing a linux distro, more specifically i chose Kali. Then began the headaches. To make what was literally 14ish into a very short story, installing the needed drivers for this machine was a terrible experience. Honestly, after all the time i spent troubleshooting, a part of me wanted to keep this laptop, until i read that some of the issues are fixes I would need to correct every new version of Kali. Pass. Congrats to hp however, they managed to make linux complicated before even cracking open the terminal. If youre looking to install linux on this machine, and running scripts from a dozen different git repos doesnt sound all that appetizing, i suggest you select one of the thousands other everyday-use laptops at a similar price point.

> 3 dayIf this had a backlit keyboard it would be perfect! For the price you cant really beat it. I love the keyboard and the processor does well for me. I will be upgrading the RAM and SSD but what come stock with this will get you by easily. I plan to do a little light gaming which is why I want to upgrade a little. Other than that I couldnt be happier, and I am use to a $3000 Origin PC custom laptop with 1060 and i7 9700. Great laptop for productivity.
