HP Chromebook, 2-in-1, 14C-CA0053DX, i3-10110U, 8GB, 64GB, S

After lots of time researching various brands, Im very pleased I chose this chromebook. I really like it. Its very comfortable to use.

OK so this is my positive/ negative list after a month of heavy use:

The touchpad works strangely. There is no confidence in the positioning. When touched, it emits a rattling sound. The screen lacks brightness at the maximum setting. Beautiful sound. But the biggest disadvantage is the poor Chrome OS. The last time I watched it was two years ago, and during this time, the progress is minimal. I bought it for my daughter of 6 years, this system is not suitable for more. Even taking into account the Linux container. And believe me, I know what Im talking about. I work freely in all 3 systems and call Chrome OS 4 «System», the language does not turn. This is a set of compromises and crutches. If you need a laptop with exceptional browser functionality, this is the ideal option. But no more. A terribly non-functional system.

This chromebook works great and used for virtual learning.

I waited for this, because it really is incredibly gorgeous (even sexy) solid, feels good, has a perfect weight and a magnet at the front, so you need a little effort to open it, the screen stays where ever you want it to be, its nice and tight. Ive never figured out the fingerprint. You still have to login with your password. The screen is gorgeous, I could never live without backlit, now that I have it. But I have a lot of trouble with Prime Video. I bought 147 videos on Prime, but have a lot of trouble downloading them, I left a review and hopefully that will get fixed. It used to work fine, its all the updates that caused the problem. But I absolutely LOVE the Chromebook and the way the HP is somewhat artistic, its 4 vertical lines without horizontal lines, you know its HP and the lines are kind of chrome like, the color of the laptop is a wonderful grey Mineral Silver with darker keys. Even when I have a little trouble with it, I still LOVE IT. Highly recommended, if you love beautifully designed things! The volume could be a little higher, but I use ear plugs, so that doesnt really matter. Its absolutely Stunning!!

I love this laptop. It is extremely user friendly and the construction of the device feels high quality. I especially love the keyboard, the fingerprint reader, the camera shutter on/off functionality, and the overall product design.

For the price and what I need it for it delivers

Very good overall. It only took 4 days to deliver from America to Singapore. Package was nicely received, no damaged. It is new and no faulty places. Recommended.

We purchased this in September of 2020, and now, slightly more than a year later, it will not work. Weve tried to restore via the Chromebook Recovery tool, but it will not work. We are able to download everything fine to a jump drive, enter recovery mode, however, it just keeps failing when we try to install the recovery. Googles recovery help site says to just try again, however, weve tried five total times with different computers and jump drives. There doesnt seem to be a fix. If you are planning to purchase this device, which really was amazing for one year, I encourage you to purchase the extended warranty through Amazon. We are 3 months outside of the warranty from the company, which is incredibly frustrating.
