I am definitely upset. Love the equipment, love how it works, but I did NOT get the HP Stylus as stated in the Q&A 2 months ago. This was the singular reason for my decision, but noooo....

Great chromebook! Worth a few more dollars to get an upgraded chromebook. Still a great price and much less than retail stores. This is a step up from most chromebooks.

I have been a Windows laptop user forever. I have recently gotten tired of how slow the laptop has become and the frequent (agonizingly slow) reboots for updates. My concern has been that some applications, such as Quicken, Turbotax, etc. would not run on a Chromebook. I have arrived at the perfect solution. With this HP Chromebook, I am able to use a remote desktop to connect to my Windows laptop to run the applications I need. I put my Windows laptop into hibernate mode and use WOL (Wake on Lan) feature to wake it up when needed. The FHD screen resolution gives me the perfect capability for a remote desktop.

A computer bought for me to basically scrapbook on. I didn’t need everything but the basics I’m excited to use this computer more through out the year. My kids were green eyed envious!

So far theres nothing to complain about. Only issue I have is not use to the keyboard as I am use to using my desktop keyboard. I heard reviews that the brightness isnt bright enough. I use it indoors as I dont carry it outside and so far have no issues with the brightness and Im only using about 3/4 brightness settings. When in tablet mode (3rd pic) the hinges tend to become loose at a certain angle that when youre using touchscreen, the display will tilt back/fall back abit but isnt a big issue for me as it doesnt happen all the time. Other than that, really love this chromebook. I bought in Amazon as I come from Malaysia and is difficult to find anyone selling Chromebook online. The once I manage to find are Acer c434 which is also one of my list but the price is ridiculously overpriced. With Amazon, price + shipping + tax is so much cheaper compare to buying locally.

I picked up this laptop on sale for $379, and what a steal. I bought it for my young son to use while homeschooling, but I put it through its paces before I gave it to him.

The touchpad works strangely. There is no confidence in the positioning. When touched, it emits a rattling sound. The screen lacks brightness at the maximum setting. Beautiful sound. But the biggest disadvantage is the poor Chrome OS. The last time I watched it was two years ago, and during this time, the progress is minimal. I bought it for my daughter of 6 years, this system is not suitable for more. Even taking into account the Linux container. And believe me, I know what Im talking about. I work freely in all 3 systems and call Chrome OS 4 «System», the language does not turn. This is a set of compromises and crutches. If you need a laptop with exceptional browser functionality, this is the ideal option. But no more. A terribly non-functional system.

This computer is great. Having worked with an Acer Chromebook for the last 5 years, I knew what to expect. I love Chromebooks for their ease in setup. It literally took 5-10 minutes to set up and I was already doing work. I was worried I would miss the 15.5 screen size of my older Chromebook, but I dont. The screen is clear, the touch screen works great, and I love that I can flip the screen over and use it as a tablet if I choose. The keys are sleek and types faster than my older Chromebook. The computer is fast and really lightweight. I would purchase it again and highly recommend it to others!

Fool me twice, shame on me. I loved this Chromebook so much that when the first one died after a year, I took a gamble and bought another. The second one went to the black screen of death in the middle of my Monday work day. It was charged. I charged it some more. Nada. I closed the cover and left it alone overnight. Next day, nothing and nothing and nothing. You get the picture. Finally, I open it up again on the 7th day and voila! Hello! All perky like nothing every happened. Reminds me of one or two exes! Couldnt trust them and dont dare trust this ever again. Shame on you, HP. And shame on you, Asurioun. $57 just to hear you say return it to Amazon after two months. Thanks for nothing.
