> 3 dayI have been a Windows laptop user forever. I have recently gotten tired of how slow the laptop has become and the frequent (agonizingly slow) reboots for updates. My concern has been that some applications, such as Quicken, Turbotax, etc. would not run on a Chromebook. I have arrived at the perfect solution. With this HP Chromebook, I am able to use a remote desktop to connect to my Windows laptop to run the applications I need. I put my Windows laptop into hibernate mode and use WOL (Wake on Lan) feature to wake it up when needed. The FHD screen resolution gives me the perfect capability for a remote desktop.

Greater than one weekThis is my first Chromebook. I love the layout and feel of the keyboard. It doesnt feel tight like some smaller laptops or tablets. The resolution is wonderful and it is very quick. My one complaint is that it is NOT compatible with Netflix or Hulu apps. One reason for getting a Chromebook was so I could use the Netflix app to download shows to watch when I fly. Guess I will continue to use my phone for that. Also, the Caps Lock button is a Windows search button. Takes some getting used to but not a big drawback.

> 3 dayIve had this laptop for a few months now. I originally purchased it for msrp price at best buy. Compared to the predecessor (stolen), this laptop has an inferior keyboard and it feels heavier because they made the body size smaller. It has been improved over the prior generation due to the privacy switch and fingerprint sensor, which is very useful.

> 3 dayIn terms of specs, features, and performance, Im generally finding this Chromebook an upgrade compared to prior Acer and Samsung models used for business purposes. There are two problem areas that result in my present rating. First is discovering after multiple orders and returns that there are no available keyboard covers or hardshell cases that fit. Also, the keys are audibly clacky and could potentially be picked up via the microphone during videoconferencing. Be sure to read current questions and answers before investing in this model.

> 3 dayFirst chromebook that I bought and turns out to be a gem. Have been using Surface Pro for couple of years but x360 is more fun to work on.

Greater than one weekI am definitely upset. Love the equipment, love how it works, but I did NOT get the HP Stylus as stated in the Q&A 2 months ago. This was the singular reason for my decision, but noooo....

> 3 dayIf youre looking for an inexpensive computer that does it all. This is it. I did alot of research before purchasing. Ive had it for a few weeks now. So far, I am very pleased. Literally everything is easy on this computer, including set up. The speakers give quality sound. The screen is excellent and not as dim as I was originally lead to believe. The battery lasts all day. It has 8gb ram so I can video edit when I am ready. You dont have to remember any of your passwords because Google Chrome does it for you. Downsides: when u flip the screen all the way around for tablet mode, the speakers become muffled because they are on the keyboard on the other side. So far, no one has made a protective case for it or a keyboard cover to fit it. The keyboard is a little bit weird because it has a search button instead of caps lock. And the whole screen button doesnt actually make your videos go full screen. It just enlarges the window all the way. It is an overall high quality product that I am very glad I purchased and look forward to much productivity.
