Greater than one weekFor the 600-700 dollar price point this is a very highly specced and featured notebook. You pay a price to meet this price point. It wont match a Dell XPS in thinness or bezel size. They are pretty big. It also is let down by a cheap plastic bottom. Still it spent the money where it matters the screen is fantastic bright and responsive, the keyboard is actually great with tons of travel and good key separation.

> 3 dayThis laptop was a huge disappointment. First off, the mouse is just terribly designed. It has like a matte feel to it, and your finger cannot move smoothly on it and keeps on getting stuck. The battery life is just atrocious, I used it one day for regular use (writing and browsing. no gaming or movies) and the battery didnt even last 3 hours! The laptop itself is not lightweight, and the plug that comes with it is quite clunky and heavy. The battery gets crazy hot from regular use, so you hear the fan turning on every 10 min or so, which is quite annoying. The computer was also slow and kept on buffering, it didnt feel like it has 8 RAM. The only thing I liked in this laptop is the fact that it comes with 3 usb ports. If youre looking for something in this price range, I would recommend the Microsoft surface Go. Although its smaller than the HP (its like 12.4) and only has 2 ports (and also lacks a SD card slot, which is a huge downside), its better than the HP in every way. Its sleeker, nicer, lighter, better performance, Im not sure about battery life yet, but so far it has been 10 steps ahead than the HP in every way. I do not recommend this laptop at all. look somewhere else!

> 3 dayPurchased this at a Prime Day price as an upgrade from my HP Envy circa 2014. I am a student, Mom, and use my laptop for homework as well as placing grocery orders etc. What I love: my old laptop had a serious issue with the track pad. Touching any part of the lower edge of the keyboard triggered it. This track pad/keyboard does not have this issue. It does have a cheaper feel, (not as bad as a Chromebook but somewhere in the middle) to the track pad but this does not bother me. My old one was all metal and cold to the touch. The keyboard on this is smaller but I love the size and weight of the entire laptop. My old one was 17 and super heavy. This is light and easy to carry around, does not make my legs tired when Im typing 5 page papers. Note: this one does not have 10 key because it is smaller, which threw me off. Probably my only complaint...yet I wouldnt get that in this size of laptop anyway, so I let it go. Transition from laptop to tablet is as simple as flipping the screen backward. It creates an interface with apps immediately instead of point and double click applications. Overall using it is very easy, its really really fast, and perfect for simple computer use for a student/parent that wants both tablet and computer options in one.
