> 3 dayUPDATE: it’s been less than 2 months and one of the fans has broken on its own. It over heats and won’t stay on. Maybe I just have bad luck, but I wouldnt recommend this laptop.

> 3 dayThis laptop was a huge disappointment. First off, the mouse is just terribly designed. It has like a matte feel to it, and your finger cannot move smoothly on it and keeps on getting stuck. The battery life is just atrocious, I used it one day for regular use (writing and browsing. no gaming or movies) and the battery didnt even last 3 hours! The laptop itself is not lightweight, and the plug that comes with it is quite clunky and heavy. The battery gets crazy hot from regular use, so you hear the fan turning on every 10 min or so, which is quite annoying. The computer was also slow and kept on buffering, it didnt feel like it has 8 RAM. The only thing I liked in this laptop is the fact that it comes with 3 usb ports. If youre looking for something in this price range, I would recommend the Microsoft surface Go. Although its smaller than the HP (its like 12.4) and only has 2 ports (and also lacks a SD card slot, which is a huge downside), its better than the HP in every way. Its sleeker, nicer, lighter, better performance, Im not sure about battery life yet, but so far it has been 10 steps ahead than the HP in every way. I do not recommend this laptop at all. look somewhere else!

> 3 dayFor the 600-700 dollar price point this is a very highly specced and featured notebook. You pay a price to meet this price point. It wont match a Dell XPS in thinness or bezel size. They are pretty big. It also is let down by a cheap plastic bottom. Still it spent the money where it matters the screen is fantastic bright and responsive, the keyboard is actually great with tons of travel and good key separation.

> 3 dayI love that I can fold it to be like a tablet. Buttons are spaced apart for easy use. Different than what I was used to but I am learning fast how to do things on it.

Greater than one weekReceived the HP Pavilion today, followed set up instructions. Plugged in laptop, powered on....took about 5 minutes to load. Started the set up process, suddenly the screen went black, and power light turned off. Called HP and Amazon to try trouble shooting, they recommended returning the product because it should have turned on even right out of the box as long as it was plugged in. Tried multiple plug outlets as well. Processed a return through amazon. Now I have to pack it up and bring to UPS store. The fan is still running on the laptop but there are no lights on so I have to wait until it completely dies before boxing it up. Customer service was very friendly but I just cannot trust HP at this point so I will be buying a Dell now.

> 3 dayMy daughter absolutely loves hers! The flip touch screen is perfect fit for her needs. Battery life is excellent and the security of the pioneering reader is awesome.
