> 3 dayI was disappointed that there is no backlit keyboard. This was on my list. I looked at so many computers things got lost in the shuffle. I thought I could do without a backlit keyboard, but I cant. This model has Windows 10. I got sucked in because Amazon mentions that one can upgrade to Windows 11. I didnt see this infomation. The biggest headache was not being able to load Google Chrome easily. I ended up contacting HP Assistant and the issue was elevated. The second help desk person wrote something about whehter this model had the capability. Microsoft Edge is the end all be all. If so, why do so many people have complaints? Anyhow, if you can live without a fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard, make your purchase. I dont know if the price is really a bargain for the features you do get. It has the ports I need. I wish they were put on both sides of the computer. There is not enough space to plug in two USB drives next to one another. I trust the name HP but then later read that it has fallen down some notches. Im going to put down the mike, as Im rambling now.

07-06-2025I purchased this laptop for online college courses. This laptop is efficient, fast, and suitable for completing school online. I love the option to use it as a tablet. The screen is large and easy to read. I gave 4 stars because this computer does not have a backlit keyboard; not a huge deal for me, but it would have been a nice touch. Overall this laptop does its job; Ive had no issues thus far, been using it for a year. Reasonable purchase price.

> 3 dayI’m immersed in the Apple ecosystem for personal at home use, but I wanted a separate windows based PC for my new job WFH that would not break the bank. I’m 2 months in using this HP Pavilion. This tablet laptop is performing like a workhorse along with my extra side monitor I.e., zoom calls, multiple windows open, processes running. All my accessories have their needed port, it’s super fast, and the HP support system has been great as well. I haven’t had a single hiccup and expect to get at least 4-5 optimal years of use out of this PC. While I use it in PC mode primarily, using the pen stylist has been very smooth. Very happy with this purchase and WFH has been a breeze.

07-06-2025I love that I can fold it to be like a tablet. Buttons are spaced apart for easy use. Different than what I was used to but I am learning fast how to do things on it.

> 3 dayI welcomed the opportunity to evaluate this laptop, especially since I had not used a new one in several years. It was even longer ago that I last played with a touch screen. The quick summary after using the laptop for several weeks is that it is a very solid computer that I would be happy to have chosen out of the field of machines out there today.
