This case was overall a great buy. The price tag was right where I needed it to be. Upon first installing the case I noticed that the flip cover didnt rest flat in the phone but it only took a couple of days for the case to break in and the cover was as advertised. I really like the coating on this case it gives a good amount of grip but not to much to where you cant get it in or out of your pocket.

I bought this item and while it came pretty fast,(within 5 days), the item I got has scratches on the back, not sure if its just mine but its pretty scratchy and I just opened it today.

This case has a lot of pros, and only one con that Ive run into. The idea of being able to see the time, weather, message and mail notifications while still having the entire phone protected is great. I work in an automotive shop, and its very convenient. Ive had more compliments than I can remember on it. People asking me how it works, and if they can see it. I love how it activates my phone when I open the cover, and turns it off when I close it without me having to hit any buttons. So once Im done using it, I just flip the cover closed and slide it back into my pocket. The only con Ive come across is that it doesnt open all the way. Meaning, you cant fold the front flat onto the back, which sometimes makes it difficult to do tasks like texting. But it works very well to prop your phone up for video viewing. Overall, I really like this case, and the fact that its only for the HTC One (M8) gives it a feeling of exclusivity.

Got for my daughter she loves it and the color.

Its a good case as any I suppose. I purchased in October 2014. It just turned 2015. I had to purchase a new case, because the cover is torn. If you are constantly on your phone, or use it a lot like I do then I would invest in a better case. The corners of the dot top wore out quickly from use, and are torn/ripped. Also, when it falls from a table or even on the carpet, the case abd phone go in separate directions. There is a sticky shaped metallic piece on the inside of the back cover that is constantly falling off. Its a novelty case, its run its course.. Sure. Being able to answer your phone with the cover closed is great especially when you are on-call you can see who it is with out being blinded. If you get it, get out for the looks. If you want functional and longer lasting, go another route.
