> 3 dayTakes awhile to get used to taking photos without a viewfinder or screen. Picture quality is quite good, I was particularly impressed with underwater shots.

> 3 dayI have been using these for about 4 years. They are NOT Waterproof! Am I the only one that has had problems? Another major glitch for anyone buying one is the app. I cant sem to find it an longer in the store. Luckily I was able to transfer it to my new phone from old phone . The camera will still work but its so much more usefull with the phone app. The wide angle pix are great but no viewfinder seems to be a problem for people. This is a fun cheap secondary/ tertiary camera to spice up your IG feed.

> 3 dayAt first I was excited to get this portable camera for my motorcycle rides. I had seen other pics and videos posted online by other users. Pics were clear, video was clear, game on. I received it as a Christmas present, and set it up with no problem. I downloaded the app and after several tries was able to connect it to my iphone 6s and see my test pics and videos on my phone. Finally the day came to test it on a motorcycle ride. I took pics and video with it. Later that night I sat down with my phone, opened the app, and it asked me for a password. I didnt originally set it up with a password, so I had none. There is no option to retrieve or reset your so called password either. I went online and looked for a solution. The only option was to reset the camera to factory settings, which I did...repeatedly. It kept taking me to the same password screen and running me in circles. I did an online chat with HTC support. After 75 mins of my time back and forth I was told the camera was not compatible with my phone. WTH!? It had just worked two weeks prior with no problems. I had even uninstalled and reinstalled the app to be sure. Oh sure, I can pull the SD card out and get the pics and videos off of the card, but my hope was to be able to share these videos from my phone online with friends. I even tried emailing a video to myself to open and save on my phone, but it said the file was over the limit. Bottom line, Im mad and very unsatisfied with this product and the companys inability to solve the issue. Thanks for wasting my time and my money HTC

> 3 dayThe following is based on IOS as I do not have an Android any longer to test it out there. Hard to believe this camera can still be found new. I still use and enjoy the two I own; one blue and one white. Note that the colored cams do not suffer the cracked case (at least of all the ones I have seen, and I have seen about 8 colored and 3 white). For some reason the whites are more brittle plastic? Also, the original packaging had the RE displayed nicely in the clear dome case but this may have put a lot of stress on the bottom, as this was how it was mounted and shipped. The one I received had bubble wrap around it to help but I really think it was just the white case material. Note that this latest one I received had no cracks and maybe they changed something on later models. The serial number is a lot higher than my original ones so it is a more recent production model. My white one had cracks so of course it never was exposed to the elements but I though why not replace it now for 60 bucks. I was happy to see this camera arrive in new unopened packaging as I figured this would be a reconditioned unit. Well, maybe if it was, and someone had done the update before HTC shut their servers down for it, I would not have to return it. Thats right, looks like the servers are shut down and without them one cannot do a firmware update on the RE. Let me state this is the only reason I give it a 3 star today. It would have been 4 if not for this. As you might be understanding by now, this doesnt need to be a deal breaker for most people, especially if you never saw the slight changes (dare I call them improvements) that the last and only update they put out for it, gave you. I also have read that on Android it will not connect to the app. I cant confirm it but many negative reviews at the Android Play Store concerning this. At least it still connects fine on IOS and will still use my other cams till till the end!

> 3 dayThe camera and features are great, but the base cracked within 1 week. I only used this product a couple of times.

> 3 dayLove it! Convenient to use. Be aware that the HTC RE App needs Bluetooth 4.0 to work. Will not install on my iPhone 4 or upload 2.

> 3 dayWorks well enough, but photos can be grainy since you cant specifically focus the camera or change the scoping. The app works, but at that point Id just use my phone. this was purchased for ease of use and the fact that I can take it with my and dont have to take out my phone. Strapped it to my bike for offroading and it did better than my cousins GoPro for stability.

> 3 dayI was weary of the condition the product arrived in as the bottom didnt seem fully attached. I pushed it and it snapped in and seemed fine. 3 months later, I started having issues with the camera not taking pictures, freezing up, turning on record and not being able to stop it. I have performed countless hard resets, called HTC and now just got rejected for a warranty claim because they said the item wasnt new when I got it. I contacted HTC in November, which puts my purchase at 5 months old. HTC will not warrant the product and I am stuck with a paperweight. I will never purchase from this seller again.
