> 3 dayThis worked for about 2 days and then stopped. Went on the website of the maker which I think was HP. They asked no questions just sent a replacement in 4 days we had it.

03-04-2025I needed one more base station to clear out some occlusion issues I had due to items in my room, and it works perfectly. I liked it so much I got 2 more, and now I have 5 bases and very little issue with tracking anymore.

> 3 dayWaste of money. The product arrived with the bag opened, the box partially damaged, and partially opened. And I paid for a working product and I got a busted base station that immediately started flashing red when I plugged it in. And I checked various support pages on steam and google that say the red light means it’s broken and not fixable at home. Fast delivery, but a totally unacceptable product delivery

> 3 dayThis light house has a markup of $50 compared to the steam store light house, but at least I can order it lol. Also it doesnt come with mounting hardware which seems odd but a 3 pack of mounts is really cheap and I like them better than the mounting hardware that comes with the index.

Greater than one weekUpdate: after originally receiving a 1.0 base station, I returned it and got a replacement which was the correct 2.0 base station. I had no issue setting it up and it works perfectly with my valve index and the other two base stations I already had. Original review: In case this happens to anyone else, I ordered this to be a 3rd base station for my new valve index. But what I received was actually a 1.0 base station, which looks different from the pictures and is not compatible with the 2.0 base stations that came with my headset. 1.0 base stations have a flat front and a button on the back to select channel. 2.0 base stations have a curved front and no buttons. So if you order this and its not working, make sure you actually got what you ordered!

> 3 dayLike other reviews have stated there is no mount. You will have to buy a stand or mount separate. The cord is also a lot shorter (maybe about 5 feet) than the one that came with my Steam VR set. So plan accordingly. It is steamVR compatible. If this is your 3rd+ base station when you first start steamVR you may get notified that you need to change the channels on the base stations. The steamVR popup window will guide you through this process. If they add the mount and increase the length of the cord. I will raise it to 5 stars. This base station is $50 more than it is on the steam store (but at least it is available). edit: I had a mechanical failure under a year. HOWEVER vive replaced it for free and even has a recycling program for the old broken one. Because of this I am raising it to 5 stars for the time being (I will lower it back to 4 if this one dies under a year as well).
