> 3 dayBought 4 of these for gamer daughters VR set up. They are just as easy to set up as the 1.0 units and have improved performance. Cost is more but worth it for the improved performance. Dont forget to order wall mounts for these!!!

> 3 dayIm disappointed with this product. The cord is far shorter than the one that Valve sells, but this one costs over fifty dollars more. I would recommend waiting for a valve restock to get base stations instead of buying this from HTC.

> 3 dayThis base station is $50 more than what steam is selling it for and it does not come with -ANY- mounting hardware or even screws. You gotta do what you gotta do but they are clearly taking advantage of the current situation.

02-04-2025You need to connect the Base Station in your PC with USB to update firmware update in SteamVR, then remove the USB and put it 7 feet up and place it in the corner you need at least 2 of them to get the best experience for fullbody or Valve index VR, change the first Base Station channel from back theres a small button the Base Station it gonna blink blue then green it mean connected and tracking, Thank to the seller its Trusted!

Greater than one weekThese are identical to the ones sold by Valve (it even says Valve on the back still), but these are $50 more expensive and comes with a shorter, bulkier, and sideways oriented power supply compared to the ones sold on Steam by Valve. Not only that, but there is no wall mount included either. They charge you more for far inferior hardware or lack thereof and this has always been HTC’s MO. I was ok with paying $50 more because I needed the extra Base Station and I was already aware of the shorter power adapter, but I expected at least a wall mount in the box! If Steam wasn’t currently sold out of Base Stations I wouldn’t have even considered this. I will be keeping an eye on Steam’s stock and returning this if I can get my hands on a Valve Base Station. Do not buy this if you’re not in a rush for another Base Station. Period.

06-04-2025so I ordered 2 of these and 1st 1 I opened was new with protective sticker over face and power supply in bag. the 2nd 1 I opened was missing protective sticker, had minor scratches and smudges and power supply didnt have a bag and no twist tie with fingerprints. ok I can live with that, then I plug it in everything looks good for 2 seconds then I get the flashing red light indicating hardware failure... not cool

> 3 daySo yeah. It is more expensive and you get less than what Valve gives you. But it works and you can order it whenever. The 2.0 arrived after a week, which was sooner than the 2 weeks they suggested it would take. Ill take what I can get if Valve is out of stock.

Greater than one weekI needed one more base station to clear out some occlusion issues I had due to items in my room, and it works perfectly. I liked it so much I got 2 more, and now I have 5 bases and very little issue with tracking anymore.

03-04-2025Its amazing the cable I received with it was around 16feet long it just doesnt come with a mounting kit so I would get one as well again overpriced but worth it as long as you can afford it!
