HTC Vive Base Station

I bought 2 of these as a replacement for my old base stations as these newer ones have more range on their tracking. Theyve worked flawlessly since their purchase and Im thinking about getting another 2 for completely flawless 360 tracking!

Works well

Item stopped working after 1 1/2 months, it looked brand new and worked great then it randomly stopped connecting to my computer and won’t track my trackers anymore. I tired updating and resetting it multiple times and nothing has worked. Extremely disappointed as this was my graduation gift.

Worked like a new one

Super cool thing I bought to jam the signal from my tv remote to my tv! My tv uses an infrared remote signal and this thing just screws it all up! Perfect for pranking my dad. Its a pretty solid reliable square box. Works great. 10/10 would buy again. Also, for some reason my VR vive trackers dont work without this thing. Not sure why... definitely need to buy another one for 360 tracking.

I wasted 140$ On this for it not to work, it keeps saying it needs a update and wont track, and when i do update it it wont track anything

I got it and it wasn’t even turning it on.

One of my Vive Pre base stations failed. These were the earliest versions, so they dont automatically turn off. It had been running continuously for almost a year, and likely succumbed to vibration induced damage. It had spent some time attached to one of those extending floor to ceiling poles a lot of people have been recommending, but the outer housing of that pole wasnt snug against the inside part, allowing a bit of rattle. Anyway, even though they are vastly different versions, they seem to be working fine. I have them in Wireless mode right now, with no tracking issues after a week of testing.
