Es necesario tener en mente que este es un celular de gama media. Bajo ese concepto me parece que es un celular bastante bueno con respecto al rendimiento que tiene, la memoria y la pantalla, que es bastante grande. Prácticamente no he utilizado la cámara pero las fotografías que he tomado me parecen bastante decentes. La batería dura hasta dos días con un uso no tan intenso del teléfono. Viene con un protector que para mi gusto le resta a la apariencia del celular, pero que si no se la colocas será muy facil que el teléfno se resbale de cualquier superficie

When I first read the Huawei/Honor was bring out the 8X I was super stoked. I had the 7X and loved it, but I wanted something that was quicker and had more native storage. I followed the release of the 8X and was crestfallen when it was not released for the US, but recently I was informed that the JSN-L23 version worked for the US. I checked it out and verified the bands and became a very happy camper. I ordered this phone for my early birthday present. The first device I received was awesome... but it was the wrong color. Amazon sent me out a replacement that was correct so that I have this gorgeous blue phone in my hand. I hed my wife give the first phone a try and she really liked it so I had to order her one as well. PROS * Price - You get what you pay for and then some. This phone could easily sell for double and still be a decent buy. * Battery life - no complaints here. I can go all day and still have plenty of juice left. Im not a gamer but I travel every day for work and use my phone for my paperwork, consulting maps, and as my ereader. * Screen - my first thought on a 6.5 1080p screen was, will it look good enough? Yes, it does. It looks great. It is nice and bright. The notch is not too big and leaves plenty of room for notifications and status icons. The pre-installed screen protector was a very nice addition, as well. * Hardware - This a fast phone. The build is Gorilla glass on the front and back with metal edges, and the included clear case adds extra protection. It has a nice heft in the hand. The fingerprint sensor is dead on in the proper location and is very snappy. Game performance is good and the sound can get more than loud enough. I havent encountered any lag or stuttering in my day to day use thus far. * Cell Reception - I am on Cricket which uses AT&Ts network. I havent had any issues with cell reception. While the L23 version has bands 2, 4, and 5 it does lack bands 12 and 17. As I said above I travel daily for my job and a lot of that is by interstate and I can say that the only areas I have bad reception are the areas that have always had bad reception. I have 4G almost all the time. * Software - my phone is still on Android 8.1.0. From what I have found online Honor pulled the impending update to 9.0 due to some issues that came to light but they still plan on putting it out once these are resolved. I cant speak on EMUI as I use Nova Launcher on all my phones. CONS * Size - No matter what people say size does matter. This is a large phone. I am a big guy with big hands and it can still be a stretch to reach across the screen with my thumb. Hopefully anyone buying a 6.5 phone understands that that is part of the deal. * Camera - while I have not had any issues with the camera I have hear that some people do. Im not a photographer so as long as the image is clear I am fine with it. My pictures thus far have all looked good, but just know that this is a point of contention with some. * Micro USB - this, to me, was really disappointing. I knew about it before I bought the phone but it still bothered me. I have plenty of micro USB cables and all from previous phones (Im looking at you, Honor 7X) but it would have been much nicer to have had USB C. The bottom line is that I am very happy with this device. It is a killer bargain for the price, plus it really turns heads with its looks. Buy it.

Ive had this phone for a few years, and I am about to purchase a different brand phone for more storage options.... But I must give credit where it is due. This phone has worked well and continues to work well consistently. I am sure I still havent explored all of the various features, but it was an excellent, excellent value for a budget phone. I highly recommend it.

I had never use Huawei before until Trump make all those false statement about them without any proof! Best phone ever, very good battery life, crystal clear pictures, great phone specifications for the money. It is so good I got my mom one.

Just switched from a Motorola G6 Forge (and before that an iPhone 6s), and Im thrilled to have found the Honor 8x. I did receive the JSN-L23 as advertised... And as soon as I popped the sim in, it worked. I get 4g with Cricket in Nebraska. Cant speak for any other networks or areas, but it works here. Data speed is roughly the same as it was on my Motorola G6 on the same network. The thing that sold me on this phone was watching YouTube reviews where they compared it to the new iPhone XR/S. Basically, its NEARLY as good. Depressingly close. It doesnt have waterproofing (but you could buy nearly 4 of them for the same price as an iPhone, so yeah), and the speaker does leave a little bit to be desired, but the camera is great, response time is incredibly fast, the battery charges slowly but it lasts 1.5 days, the screen is straight up beautiful, pics honestly dont do it justice... And whatever version of Android it came with isnt half bad. (Which is saying something coming from me because I had 3 different android phones beforplutely despised the OS on all 3.) If there were an $899 Huawei phone, the thing would probably consist of alien technology. They basically just made a $214 iPhone XR. Would highly recommend. Will update the review if it goes downhill, but this thing feels like its built to last. So far, Ill definitely be buying another Huawei to replace this one when I need it.

This phone is amazing. It comes with a case in the box, and a screen protector on the phone! It comes with everything you need in the box, and has been updated to work on Android Pi, which is pretty impressive. The phone is fast and responsive, and the display has remarkably good blacks for a non-oled display. EMUI 9 isnt even that bad, but I did replace the launcher with Nova Launcher, and its just amazing now. Warning: Dont take the screen protector off of it until you are SURE the new one fits. Ive ordered glass screen protectors from two companies now, and neither fit correctly. The one flaw with this phone may be finding screen protectors that fit it well. Did I mention it has two sim card slots AND a microSD slot? A lot of phones in this price range make you choose between the second sim and the microSD.

The finger reader will read immediately or it may take a few times. I dont use the face recognition. Anyway, the phone is amazing its the best phone Ive ever had. The camera spec are great and the battery life can last me up to 2 day! Great buy for the price of the phone! Update a year and 3 months later the finger print scanner has now stopped working. However the phone is durable.

The phone itself is beautiful but, sadly, I was unable to complete the initial setup. It would get stuck on one screen for a while and then go back to the beginning of the setup process all over again. Spent a considerable amount of time with Huawei customer service but with no luck. Huawei is banned by our government and as far as I know, Google has dropped them. I didnt realize all this when ordering the phone, and I believe that may have had something to do with not being able to complete the setup. Ironically, the customer service rep said you shouldnt really buy foreign international phones. If thats the case, why does Huawei have American customer service.....confusing. Anyway, purchase at your own risk!

As a long time Huawei supporter (even via their big stores in Hainan) I am really taken back with the difficulties with this product. I cant get stock photos deleted, so theyre mixed with my kids pictures on my rotating lock screen. My photos sync to Google Photos (while in the USA) but the option to free space is not working. The bloatware stinks because, as a US citizen, I cannot sign up for Huawei - there isnt even my country on the drop down. This really does sadden me. I brag on Huawei all the time. At least 10 people have thia brand from my recommendations (software guy here - people assume I know everything about all things computers). :/

Great device there is only 2 things that kill it for me, 1.Micro USB charging instead of USB type C... WHY HONOR? 2. No dual band wifi meaning youre stuck on good ol 2.4ghz wifi it makes the device slower than its competitors at this price range... The Redmi Note 7 is a better buy I think but I havent had anytime using a Snapdragon 660 device yet... ON THE OTHER HAND... this device runs like a top of the line expensive device that you would pay 500 or more for, every app opens smoothly and quickly, there is little to no stutter no matter how many apps are open. 1.IT HANDLES VR and AR cardboard etc. 2. All games Ive thrown at it played smooth and respond snappy. PubG mobile, Asphalt9, Pokémon Go, Mortal Kombat, Injustice 2,multiple final fantasy titles and more. 3. All social networking apps work smooth and load with no delays 4.Camera shoots very nice clear photos even in little light. Just in case anyone wants to know who my service provider is, Im using this phone with Walmart Family Mobile. ALSO I bought 2 of these phones and both came sealed L23 with earphones, Charger, and factory installed screen protector.
