> 24 hourOk, so if you read other reviews here you might see where customers are saying they don’t notice a sound difference. BUT... if you have a good turntable and system you WILL notice a difference. My system already sounded fantastic, but as most vinyl lovers know, if your record isn’t Totally flat, sometimes the needle will vibrate, causing issues with sound in many different ways. This weight eliminates that completely! I coupled this weight with a new Hudson HiFi acrylic platter mat and now I don’t have to turn the bass down on my records that have Slight warpage. Also, I Do notice a more consistent very detailed and solid sound from my turntable. If you ever experience vibration from your turntable, I Highly recommend this weight. I love Hudson HiFi products! Such quality merchandise and you can really tell they are true vinyl lovers!

> 24 hourNothing wrong with the stabilizer itself. But I bought the variation with the leather pad. They didnt bother to glue the pad to the stabilizer. This is either a lack of quality control, assuming they meant to glue it, or contempt for the customer, if they think proving a separate, easily lost, and really it should be glued on but isnt bit of leather is honest marketing.

> 24 hourThis is a nice little record weight. Its3hard to tell from the photos, but it does have 2 finger slots, not just one. It fits nicely in the spindle and is not so heavy I worry about the plinth bottoming out. The chrome is nice, the box it came in would do for storage. The original box was a pain for me to open, so I picked up a nice box to keep on the shelf next to my turntable and it firts perfectly. This isba great addition and my older non 180 gram records seem to sound better.

> 24 hourSuperb craftsmanship and overall a quality product. A must have for Audiophiles of all spectrums. You need this if you want to get the best out of your vinyl records, especially if you are going to listen to your collection from the 1990s, which no doubt are slightly warped due to age and storage. This handy device works hard to put the vinyl into a playable position, The weight will slowly de-warp your albums, leaving you with a superb and higher quality listening experience!

> 24 hourThe sound of records is dependent on hardware. You can own a certain platter or expensive needle stylus. I estimate that an additional weight in the center of a record may help for 80% of my record collection (edit - I originally thought only 20% of my records would sound better). You can buy different platters, leather or rubber mats, or add records underneath the record youre playing, or whatever. Experiment! The weight helps for certain records, about 80% of my collection. It worsens the sound for the others. Its nice to have for that 80%.

> 24 hour8oz is a good weight. Cutouts make it easy to handle. Its a good looking stabilizer that is very well built. Love it. Low profile will fit under most, if not all dust covers.

> 24 hourHi, I am a musician living in Nashville, and while I have been into vinyl since the 70’s up until now I was indifferent to the nuances. That has all changed as I have Fallin down the rabbit hole.... Ha....., just picked up a cork mat and weight (little). The difference on my Denon 300f is amazing. Thanks!!!! Steve
