> 3 dayThis is a nice little record weight. Its3hard to tell from the photos, but it does have 2 finger slots, not just one. It fits nicely in the spindle and is not so heavy I worry about the plinth bottoming out. The chrome is nice, the box it came in would do for storage. The original box was a pain for me to open, so I picked up a nice box to keep on the shelf next to my turntable and it firts perfectly. This isba great addition and my older non 180 gram records seem to sound better.

Greater than one weekOn a cheap kit, this makes a difference! I have a typical Crosley turntable that I’ve modified with insulation, completely different stylus, etc., and I can tell you the weight is definitely helping to preserve some of the low-mid range on what’s typically lost due to vibration with this unit. Granted, it makes the motor hum a little which raises other concerns, but this weight is great for louder more upbeat albums where the record is trying to pump through a lot of low and mid range at the same time.

> 3 dayThe item seems to perform as described but Im very disappointed to receive what was clearly an item that was dropped from a significant height as the box, which I was looking forward to keeping and displaying is badly damaged from impact. Not happy with receiving this poorly handled item. Fortunately its just a piece of metal otherwise it wouldve been damaged. Hopefully its not warped or out of balance.

> 3 dayA little less tall than other weights and allows a Rega Dust cover to close without interference. Makes interesting reflections on a record (thought the record was dirty at first). Need to stop platter before removing as it is hard to grab while turning.

Greater than one weekLove it! Really does a great job of coupling the record to the platter, especially on older albums that have warped slightly. Oh, it also looks fantastic on the table!

> 3 dayHi, I am a musician living in Nashville, and while I have been into vinyl since the 70’s up until now I was indifferent to the nuances. That has all changed as I have Fallin down the rabbit hole.... Ha....., just picked up a cork mat and weight (little). The difference on my Denon 300f is amazing. Thanks!!!! Steve

> 3 dayThis adds weight and gravity to the record culminating in the a stable playback and a deeper sound reproduction. Although subtle at first, it will become a must use going forward for all your vinyl playback.

> 3 dayThe sound of records is dependent on hardware. You can own a certain platter or expensive needle stylus. I estimate that an additional weight in the center of a record may help for 80% of my record collection (edit - I originally thought only 20% of my records would sound better). You can buy different platters, leather or rubber mats, or add records underneath the record youre playing, or whatever. Experiment! The weight helps for certain records, about 80% of my collection. It worsens the sound for the others. Its nice to have for that 80%.

Greater than one week8oz is a good weight. Cutouts make it easy to handle. Its a good looking stabilizer that is very well built. Love it. Low profile will fit under most, if not all dust covers.

> 3 dayI got a few double albums that were warped and this worked perfectly! The grooves on the sides makes it easy to take off and put on the turntable. The leather on the base doesnt scuff up the label. I didnt notice a difference on speed when using it either. Arrived in one day and nicely packaged. Very happy with this purchase.
