> 3 dayI had never bought a record weight so I was kinda jumping in blindly to it but this one hit the nail! It fits my record player perfectly and even tho it’s not TOO heavy, it definitely helps a lot on the slight bend some of my records have. I will look into buying maybe the more heavier version for myself in the future just cause I think it’s better to have both options in case you need them, especially as someone who’s starting to grow their vinyl collection.

> 3 day8oz is a good weight. Cutouts make it easy to handle. Its a good looking stabilizer that is very well built. Love it. Low profile will fit under most, if not all dust covers.

> 3 dayI was initially concerned about adding weight to my turntable. I dont want to shorten the life of the drive components however, it does not appear to be a problem. The sound quality was very noticeable and much improved.

> 3 dayPlaying a record is a bit of a ritual for me as Im sure it is for many of you. This adds another step to the ritual that makes it all the more satisfying. If the felt on your platter is good quality with enough grip, I dont really think this product to be necessary in most cases. The only instances when it seems beneficial is if you have a slightly warped record or if the pressing is cheap/light weight. The extra weight from this product can flatted a warped record and stop a light weight one from dragging. But if you have a dragging record, youve also got quality issues with your stylus or your record player altogether. Once again, I think it is a nice, but not a necessary addition to my setup.

> 3 dayWorks great for old records if you are trying to get them to lay flat. If you are buying new LPs or have a Funk Firm Gett! TT which has a large belt drive, this will slow down your record’s pitch and drive you batty. Direct drives with pitch control I think these would work magic. Can’t use on my set up and the window for return has closed winnow I have a well honed paperweight lol

> 3 dayNice record weight--especially for the money. Quite successful in damping resonance and improving the sonic quality of albums.

> 3 dayHi, I am a musician living in Nashville, and while I have been into vinyl since the 70’s up until now I was indifferent to the nuances. That has all changed as I have Fallin down the rabbit hole.... Ha....., just picked up a cork mat and weight (little). The difference on my Denon 300f is amazing. Thanks!!!! Steve
