> 3 dayWell, these are not a one handed operation handle lock. Otherwise they work to deter children from getting doors open alone.

> 3 dayFirst of all, the sticky side doesn’t hold. I had to buy a stronger tape to hold it. I shouldn’t have bothered, though. Because with a little pressure from my toddler, he can force the bottom latch down far enough to open the door. Not kid proof at all,

> 3 dayThese door locks have been a life saver! I have 2 special needs grandsons ages 4 and 5 and the locks keep them from running out of the house.

> 3 daybought this as a solution as we live in an apartment, my child sleeps in their own room and my husband works a night shift so we can’t deadbolt the door, has worked great and i can finally sleep not worrying about my child breaking free in the middle of the night

> 3 dayOur cat Winston is an escape artist; we have a brace that keeps him in his room at night or when we travel that works from the outside of his door. BUT now he has learned he can open all our lever doors including the door to our bedroom. We are mildly cat allergic (the cat was inherited) and we cope by keeping him out of our bed and bedroom. He goes where he wants to go. This device has worked perfectly so far. He has used all four paws to try to defeat it, but it is opposable thumbs 1/ cat paws 0 thus far. Highly recommended to keep cats out.

> 3 dayWe had 4 of these in our apartment to keep our toddler out of certain rooms. They worked AMAZING; however, they did end up taking the paint off with them when I removed them last week. I did the blow dryer and floss method as recommended and it still didnt work. Just a FYI!

> 3 dayI bought this product to keep my nonverbal grandson from slipping out of a rented beach condo. The kit was easy to install and it worked great. It kept him inside the condo and we didnt have to worry about him getting into danger. Right before we left we followed the manufactures directions for removal on their YouTube video. We heated it with a hairdryer for about 5 minutes and it popped off easily without damaging the paint on the door. We kept the plastic strip that we took off to install the kit and we were able to use it to recover the back of the door lock. I plan to reuse it in the future. I highly recommend this product!

> 3 dayJust followed my toddler (2.5 years old) to our front door as shes always adamant to leave the house. She had her shoes on and was ready to go. Now she cant. She went to the door, tried to pull it down and couldnt. As long as her older siblings remember to keep it locked I can have peace of mind my rambunctious curious child wont be walking around our property without adult supervision. One thing I am thankful for at least is we have 12 acres surrounding us so the most I have to worry of is her playing with our ducks, chickens or turkeys.

> 3 dayBrings safe and comfort knowing children can’t run away with special needs. In addition can’t break and enter a home.
