> 24 hourEasy to use and install! I followed the advice of one of the other reviews and installed it upside down since my lever allows me to open the door by lifting it up. By installing it upside down, I’m able to get away with not having to lock the device since my child isn’t tall enough yet to lift the lever up. When my child does get tell enough, it’s so easy to use and unlock. I don’t know how it’ll be when it’s time to remove the lever…but it doesn’t bother me because I don’t like the color of my door anyways. It’ll need a new coat of paint by that time. I highly recommend this product.

> 24 hourMy suggestion, as others have mentioned, is to put these bad boys on upside-down so that the part that does not move is below the handle. Our little one is juuuust tall enough to pull down on the handles. This stops him without us having to fully lock the handle in place. We just turn the handle up. Only sort of bad thing is the handle just barely fits past the lock mechanism when it is unlocked. So if you have fancy door handles, measure those bad boys for clearance. Very happy with them and will be ordering more. They do what they say they do.

> 24 hourNice but didn’t work for our straighter door handles. We have a very smart cat that has figured out how to pull the handles down and she lets herself into any room she pleases.

> 24 hourThis product is the best! We bought these bc our Labrador learned how to open every door in the house and run rampant while we were at work, which was not safe for him. These have stopped him, and I am super grateful. They are also strong! He is an 80lb lab and stands up using his paws and weight to press the lever- these things don’t even budge (yes I watched him try from the other side of the door when he thought I had left, yes I put a camera on it all day to make sure it stayed). If you have a smart dog who loves to open doors, I wouldn’t hesitate.

> 24 hourWe use them for our whole house. The very first one we installed 6 years ago and it’s still holding tight with no signs of wear and tear. We just had to get more for the rest of the house
