I got this impact driver while redoing all the suspension components on a 10 year old F150. It handles big bolts really well. I’d say the biggest dragon it’s slayed so far were the 20mm bolts with thread locker that hold on the lower control arms. Bolts were about about a foot long with a 36mm head, so massive by DIY mechanic standards. I have this paired with an old 4 gallon compressor and it runs just fine. I did upgrade the air lines though to the 3/8” rubber lines with high flow 1/4 NPT fittings. Very durable tool, no regrets.

Love it! Packs a punch and does not hold back. Low settings also does the job. Slight downfall is that it weighs a bit more than Im use to.

very impressed with the impact. my younger strong son with a pipe on a breaker bar struggled to loosen some bolts. Impact took them off with just a quick zip. Love the impact.

Actually had alot more power than expected. Bought it for my dad for his birthday and fathers day. Instructions are online you need to read before using.

I bought this back in Dec. 2020 in used-acceptable condition from Amazon Warehouse. It isnt something I use frequently and in fact never took it out of the box to use until today... May 17, 2022.... to use on a brake job. After watching a couple reviews about how to operate it and how to maintain it I ordered the oil/grease kit. Today I added some oil per the instructions and set to work. Made it through 8 lug nuts and it started blowing air at the joint between the nut and the body... not through the air nipple I installed, but in the tool itself. Then I noticed that one of the four screws holding the anvil to the body fell out. Of course now Im sure Im out of luck because the return window closed, but the fact is I received a defective tool and Amazon should step up and fix the problem. Bummer as the tool gets great reviews everywhere. UPDATE- I reached out to Ingersoll Rand directly and they replaced the tool with a brand new unit that works perfectly. Their customer service was very responsive throughout the process and kept me informed. I would buy from them again.

Very Quiet and Lightweight. Can use all day without fatigue

This gun has always been a favorite of mine and never ceases to perform. Keep it clean and oiled and it will last many years. Great buy for the beginner or professional.

its been 2 months, and already working great, externally powerful. Busted already 3 nuts from the rim when needed.

I abuse my other impacts daily, this one sits till its needed and it does a good job handling the tougher jobs. Also with the boot even still very lightweight

Great value. Must need for a shop. More power than older models.
