> 3 dayThis CPU is really good. For gaming it never goes above 30% usage which is why I think I mightve been fine with something cheaper but I digress. Really simple installation process. I do recommend getting an aftermarket cooler because a stock one wont cut it.

> 3 dayJust got it for my NZXT gaming PC custom build & seems to work great. Install was easy & doesnt have the annoying fragile socket pins older CPUs used to have. You just place it on the socket close the bracket install your cooler & it should be good to go. I seem to have very good frame rate stability & seems to be able to handle most games even without a GPU. If a game used to be on console itll likely work with this CPU & perform better than gaming console CPUs. I used to use a basic mini PC with an older i7 6700T but with this in my gaming PC is have next to no issue running HD graphics in games like GTA 5. And its amazing for the price. Was going to go with an i7 13700K this ended up costing half the price of the i7 & an i7 may be a bit overkill for most of the games I plan on playing on my PC anyway. Only downside is the newer Intel graphics settings apps suck.

> 3 dayI’m so glad I decided to step up from the 12600T I was planning on using to the 12600K, which is the cheapest Intel CPU that has the efficiency cores. I was nervous at first, because my plan was to build a low-ish power, 100% passively-cooled, internal GPU, no moving parts PC for use in my bedroom, where my previous computers were annoyingly loud. I used a Noctua NH-P1 passive cooler and a Seasonic PX-500 fanless PSU, and my system is not only 100% silent, it turns in impressive benchmark numbers and never gets close to throttling temperatures even after sustained Cinebench runs.

> 3 dayThe i5-12600K offers great performance for its price, although with the release of the 13600K, it may not be that good value. Gaming at 1440p is fine with this CPU, and productivity is great.
