Intel Core i7-9700K Desktop Processor 8 Cores up to 3.6 GHz Turbo unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95W

The 8700K has 6 cores but 12 threads. This newer CPU is just a marketing gimmick by intel and is actually a disabled 8700K (no hyper-threading) with 2 more cores that add no value. The clock speed increase on a K series chip is meaningless and also a marketing gimmick due to the ability of everyone to overclock these K series chips and the fact that the specs are lies plus we always have overkill cooling.

This was my second attempt for this processor, the first one was to be here the 3rd - 8th and am still waiting. I ordered yours and was here in 2 days. My computer is now up and running less than 5 hours after delivery. Thank you for taking such good care of me.

replacing 3930k which is an older but still very strong processor so i will have to see how it goes

Despite advertising the 3.6GHz stock speed, in reality the processor runs 4.7GHz all core turbo / 5.0 GHz single or dual core turbo out of the box, without you touching anything in the BIOS. More speed is usually a good thing so why is this a con? Well because it is not designed to handle that much power and heat.

Very good cpu, not as hot as i thought it would be! Cooling it with a noctua nh-u9s in push pull no problem!

My sons first PC build. Ive been doing this since mid-80s when the first PC and AT clones landed, and this is about 1000x better, and he did it with no experience and just basic guidance from me. He spent the summer gaming day and night (now time for college).

Da d’ossessione di i5 8600k volevo passare a i7 ma temperature esagerate compro un nuovo dissipatore a liquido le temperature sono scese di un pochino ma per me non accettabili leggo in vari forum molti di questi processori hanno questo problema per me è stata una perdita di tempo subito fatto il reso

Melhor custo benefício atual. Cpu poderoso, não estou mais sofrendo com queda de fps agora.
