These are the only brushes I buy for our own cats and also for the cats at my shelter. The rubber tips protect their skin and also really grab the loose fur.

These work really well for my poodle. We usually have to detangle his fur with a spray and then it moves right through. Hair remains in bristles and is easy to discard after use.

This brush is the perfect size for a small puppy thats just a few pounds. It has tips on the ends of the brush so its not sharp and the whole thing is well made. I wish it came in less garish colors.

The brush is small, we use it on our pom, and he seems to like the little brush verses the big one. I think the little balls at the end really help.

I was using a slicker brush without the little plastic tips & the kitties didnt mind but I was gentle with it but they really love this one. Im glad I got the double pack because I keep one by my chair & brush them whenever they come to sit on my lap & the other in the bedroom to groom them there also. That way I can keep up with grooming all 5 of my cats.
