> 3 dayThis stripper brush is gentle even around the ears which frequently forms small mats. I do grip the hair above the area being worked on to keep it from hurting. It is good for thinning out the under coat before and during spring shedding. I would prefer the self cleaning brushes in most cases but this small brush for puppies is small enough that it is easy to just manually remove the hair. The coated tips do not hinder removing the hair at all. She seems to enjoy being brushed with it and doesnt try to escape.
