This stripper brush is gentle even around the ears which frequently forms small mats. I do grip the hair above the area being worked on to keep it from hurting. It is good for thinning out the under coat before and during spring shedding. I would prefer the self cleaning brushes in most cases but this small brush for puppies is small enough that it is easy to just manually remove the hair. The coated tips do not hinder removing the hair at all. She seems to enjoy being brushed with it and doesnt try to escape.

I love this product, I purchase it because of the reviews. We have a 8 pound Pomeranian and this is the perfect size to brush her. She absolutely loves it and thinks of it as a massage as we are do you knowing her fur. I will definitely recommend this product.

Works well and is great to use so fine hair doesn’t get matted.

This brush is AMAZING. I work at a grooming salon and a client brought us this because it was too small for his dog. I use it all the time for small dogs (like Bischons, Havaneese, Yorkis) It works great for gently de-matting legs and faces! Even my 47lb golden/poodle mix let’s me use it on her feet without much fuss. Loved it so much, I had to come back and get the two pack! Worth every cent!!

I love these mini brushes. They are relatively sturdy and very easy to use on pocket dogs OR on dogs who hate brushing. They don’t have the longer aggressive teeth of larger slickers so My spaniel doesn’t flee and dread a little daily grooming. They are sized for the yorkie but try using this on furry bigger dog ears to be more gentle.

I have a small schnauzer and this brush works great for him.

I got this for my aunties little tiny 5lbs yorkie. Works ok with getting the tangles out and my auntie seems to like it. I ordered the 2-pack and I kept one for my 7 months old kitten for he gets intimidated by the bigger brushes. He doesnt seem to mind this one much so far. Great for small breeds but quite a strain if youre trying to use this for something bigger than 5lbs. Its tiny enough to fit into palm of my hand and I have wear extra small gloves. Overall great brush for small breeds.

I have used these for years as a professional dog groomer. I was sad to find our local pet store stopped carrying this brush. This is my FAVORITE slicker! Great for paws, faces, and removing small knots in small breeds. Great for back brushing too. If your a professional groomer these are a must have! Theyre a greattool to have. If youre not a professional, this will still be a good brush. Just be sure to get a metal comb to check your work! If you cant comb your dog, we cant give Bella the hair cut you want!

Only brushes I have found that my cats not only tolerate but love. Does good job of removing loose hair which cuts down on hair balls.
