Love this brush. Nice size to get to all areas. Works well on just about any fur length. I have purchased several of these to use at the animal shelter where I volunteer. They get a lot of use, are washed after each use and are holding up well.

I like the small size of this, regardless of which pet Im using this on. I bought it to brush through the unruly coat of our wee terrier mutt mix, and even though her coat gets ratty quickly between brushing, she doesnt object at all to use of this slicker brush. Shes medically fragile, so I treat her pretty delicately and was worried the metal spines would be too rough, but they each have a tiny white plastic tip so its not sharp. Our terrier clearly likes the experience, and stays relaxed throughout getting brushed. Our larger lab mix doesnt need brushing at all, but gets jealous over the attention the smaller dog is getting, so we brush him with the Lil Pals Slicker Brush as well, and he LOVES it. It does great on our cat too, who purrs through the brushing session. Its so popular in our house, Im nearly tempted to see if our hygiene-challenged teen would take to it.

I started buying these brushes when my now 9 year old Bichon Frise was a puppy. The brushes are used daily on my Maltese and Bichon. They are perfect for their faces since the brushes are small. They also get out the mats without hurting the dogs. My mom uses these brushes on her Bichon as well and she keeps her hair long!

These are fantastic and MUCH more comfortable for the dog! The small plastic bead/covers over the bristles make brushing your dog painless.

My long haired cats love being brushed with this brush. They even come up and beg to be brushed with it.

My favorite small slicker brush. Easy to clean and very durable. The sensitive small dogs do not complain when I use this brush on them.
